meh, PEA had 40 last year and has 21 this year. Alexis is gone either way and Theo is worthless. I'm not thrilled with how this is playing out by any means but it's not like we didn't know we were losing Alexis and I can't imagine anyone being upset about losing Theo at this point.
I'm pretty thrilled if we can get someone of PEA's stature. Much more skeptical of Mkhitaryan and his cunt fuck agent. Seems like he has Ozil's attitude without the occasional brilliant performance. Nothing to make me think Wenger will get anything out of him.
Really hope these moves are being made by the new guys for a new manager next season and not just Wenger panic buying or having more resources wasted on him. But I know it’s probably the latter which is why I don’t care.

I want Malcolm a million x more than Mkhitaryan and I've never seen him play. We lack creativity badly without Ozil but lack dribblers even more plus we're not all that young. Plus the Raiola factor. Take United's money; buy PEA, get Malcolm now or for the summer, and make 1 more run at Ozil likely to no success.
Again I really do think we have the players and talent. It will surely need to be refined but that won't happen until we get into a system. We've all seen who can flash and know who has talent. The system really will help the dumb and one faceted players. Certain guys just need roles.
Sterling-Sane-Aguero-Jesus-De Bruyne-Silva Firmino-Salah-Mane Lukaku-Alexis-Martial-Rashford-Mata Kane-Eriksen-Son Hazard-Morata-Willian-Pedro vs Lacazette-Iwobi-Welbeck-Ozil(maybe for a few more matches) Know which 1 I'm taking last. We need attacking talent badly. Midfield and defense needs to be fixed and a new coach and system could maybe do that with our current players, Pep wouldn't win shit with our current attacking talent.
Not saying we'd win the league but should be top 4. I realize the league is the goal but baby steps. Can't identify inefficiencies without the system.
All I'm saying is we need a serious upgrade in attacking talent. Xhaka for all his faults for us was really good for Gladbach. Got Ramsey and Wilshere plus Ainsley, midfield needs fixing but not like we're bereft of talent. Have a ton of CBs as well. Welbeck is a squad player, Lacazette has talent but not a star, and Iwobi sucks. You can't get top 4 with that trio even if we have a Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets midfield.
We've finished top 4 with vastly inferior attacking talent. I think it's way more than isolating any one position on the field. Not to discredit your point though either. I think anyone could make a case that we need a stud on defense, midfield or forward. I'd have a hard time arguing against bashing any position on need.
Pep/Klopp/Conte/Jose/Pochettino vs Mancini/Hogdson/Di Matteo(how the fuck did he win the CL)/Moyes/Redknapp types. It goes to the point that we need a new system and manager but we badly need to step up our scouting and recruiting process. We do look to have a nice group of young talent which is nice but we're still way behind.
I'm tired af and all I know is I want PEA a lot, don't buy the him and Lacazette not fitting together. Not like Aguero and Jesus play that much together and certainly need depth. Dude is really fucking good, not convinced Mkhitaryan is at this point.

Yeah you're right. City, united and Chelsea have never been loaded before this. Spurs spent less and Livid isnt an outlier either. Outside of that, middle of the pack has more collectively, absolutely. But we have more talent. Leagues not much different at all, just more efficient. We're status quo. This is professional sports so the margin isn't huge here. There's zero excuse for this shit, especially not TV money.
just to be clear I'm not making excuses for the club. I just don't think this current squad would all of a sudden be title contenders if they just had some "system". top 4 contenders but still no guarantee like it used to. there just isn't a top 4 anymore, it's now a top 6 fighting for those 4 spots.
