And I’m ultimately gonna reserve judgement on virtually all the players until we see what Arteta or whomever gets out of them
Keeping your mediocre squad player at a high wage, because you can't re-sign your star, instead of going out in the market and signing a better player is a real shit way to run a football club. I'd have been fine with Ramsey and Wilshere both leaving this summer.
I always appreciate your passion but I’m not going to overreact yet. I’m always near the edge ready to jump though.
I think we are all pretty much on the same page with Jack and signing that deal. Only positive from my standpoint is that if we are going to play any type of possession system, that makes him more valuable. Again, I think we all agreed paying Jack handsomely is not the way to go. I am with you here 100%. I think we have a lot in the squad. Fuck Mustafi though, I don't care if we Debuchy him.
as much as I love him, I was thinking this weekend about us trying to play a Barca/Pep style where you defend through possession and then I thought about Ramsey giving the ball away ten times a game and maybe it is best we sell him.
Yeah it’s Arteta, I assume we just keep floating random names so Arteta doesn’t walk into negotiations with all the leverage
I can't see how he doesn't already hold all the leverage anyhow. Worst case scenario he sits behind Pep a few more years and Arsenal's interest only brings his name to the forefront more.
Supposedly any manager agrees to the organizational structure we have in place, including prospective transfer targets
Things are happening. Marca saying Arteta is off http://www.marca.com/futbol/premier-league/2018/05/21/5b02dd96e2704e405f8b4704.html
No thanks to Emery. I'd rather go with Arteta and the unknown. and LOL Ben Fairthorne shouldn't be quoted anywhere - the guy's a bullshit artist. Same with Kike.
That's not even accounting for the ten plus goals he was responsible for because he didn't mark his man.
At Sevilla, he never finished better than 5th, with the last season having a dismal away performance. That sounds all too familiar a routine for us. He had the best talent in Ligue 1 and still under performed in 2017. I was just overreacting about Arteta over him but his record is not too confidence inspiring for the squad he had. i'd have preferred Jardim or Favre if we were to raid Ligue 1.
people would have been way more into Emery if he had been the choice from the beginning. The issue is that the Arteta flirtation makes it seem like there was 0 plan in place
I supported Arteta, as I think he’ll be an incredible coach in the future, but very happy we brought someone in with experience
so many people had talked themselves into Arteta and now they've had the rug pulled out from under them.
