Didn’t realize Monchi played at Sevilla until he was 30, then moved to their back office... there’s nothing to see there. He was always going when they called.
Feel like sporting director is an overrated role and we just need a good scouting department and to get back to CL so we don't need a perfect success rate on transfers.
I completely disagree with it being overrated. especially with Emery being “head coach”. this is the person tasked with putting the squad together.
Forgot to mention before but when I was at Etihad I was looking at Matchday coats as they were on sale. The big puffy ones that have 2 zippers. I tried one on and as I continued to mess with the zipper trying to get it zipped properly I couldn’t help but think of Arsene and that I now understood his pain. Was a pain and I did not purchase
So one of the guys working resembled Arsene, which we talked about, I asked if he struggled with the zipper on the puffy coats. “I tell you what, the zippers on them things is pure crap, they cost what 85 for them coats but then have these zippers that don’t work, they’re impossible” Made my day
Not that we saw. Tour was amazing though, wish I could’ve gotten to other stadiums as well but if I could only do 1 I wanted to make sure it was there
Random tangent but questions about the boss being there reminded me of Joaquin saying he tried to bring popcorn to Sevilla for all the film they had to watch under Emery and it made me imagine how hilariously bad those sessions would’ve gone with guys like Arshavin and Bendtner
Thought I saw somebody post your preseason tour schedule but can't find it. Trying to find the locale for Arsenal/Real match...
By in large I think they are horrible on communication of this. I think March 27 at 10am they announce matchups and locations.
I was tagging the Rutgers posters Saturday night during the NCAA wrestling championships and was rooting for one of them. The other I was rooting for the OSU wrestler but wasn’t even upset by the outcome, Ashnault is a great story and very deserving champ. I actually used to have access to The Cave, their private board
not able to watch now, but i’m hoping there’s going to be a replay on the website or online somewhere so i think i’m at least in the same ballpark when it comes to hating myself as you
I’ve heard from someone who works at KSE that Denver and Charlotte are two places we are playing this summer so that certainly lines up.

strongly considering just driving down and back same day and going to that match. FedEx is so big tickets probably won't be that expensive compared to when they played in Jersey a couple years ago.
