my feelings on this episode are really weird. I remember finding it hilarious watching it the first time because it is absolutely something Michael would do. Then every time I re-watch the show, I want to skip that episode because its all so cringeworthy and difficult to watch.
That's the brilliance of it though. Todd Margaret levels of cringe and facepalm. It's not hard to watch because it's shitty, it's hard to watch because they created possibly the most awkward situation in television history - a comedic feat in my book.
The much worse episode is a few episodes later when Pam refuses to go to the hospital despite her contractions. That episode makes me mad
Makes sense, Andy used to have jam sessions in his trailer and the cast would come in and sing while he jammed on the banjo. The security guard at my current show worked on The Office for every season and was in charge of making sure he knew where the cast was at all times. He still remains friends with a lot of the cast. He tells me stories everyday haha
I think I’m going to agree with you, simply because I have no recollection of the episode you’re describing. If I can’t even remember it, it must’ve been terrible
You can tell Ed Helms is getting choked up when he delivers the “good old days” line. That’s one of my favorite quotes from the entire series.
Not sure if those ITT know this, but Comedy Central runs a ton of episodes almost every damn day. http://www.cc.com/tv-schedule/the-office
I mean most people ITT have seen each episode numerous times. Missing something isn’t that big of a deal. There shouldn’t be fomo of something you have seen a bunch of times. There is literally no reason to ever watch a show like the office on TV if you have the option of using Netflix.
When we arrive, sons and daughters We'll make our homes on the water We'll build our walls aluminum We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon
Not true. I watched it all day on Sunday on tv because my gf and I are at a certain place (her first time through) and I didn’t wanna mess it up because I knew we would only be half paying attention. Then we could talk during the commercials
so i've watched through dozens upon dozens of times. through the years i've begun to skip episodes for various reasons. 1.6 hot girl 2.4 the fire 2.6 the fight 2.11 booze cruise 2.13 the secret 2.14 the carpet 3.6 diwali 4.11 night out 4.13 job fair 5.8 business trip 5.16-17 lecture circuits 5.18 blood drive 5.27 cafe disco 5.28 company picnic 6.4-5 niagara 6.6 mafia 6.9 double date 6.12 scotts tots (i watch the first few minutes bc of stanleys reaction) 6.17-18 the delivery 6.21 happy hour 6.23 body language 6.24 the cover-up 6.25 the chump 7.1 nepotism 7.4 sex ed 7.14 the seminar a few episodes in season 8 when it starts bullshit with pam and jims kid. i don't care. thats what caused it to go downhill for me. awful. and also everything after tallahassee same for season 9, whatever involves those kids, even if it's just one awful scene, gets skipped
Yeah, I never watch The Godfather because I hate the scene where Michael is chaperoned on a walk with Apollonia.
Cafe Disco is worth the watch just for Dwight treating Phyllis like the family horse and feeding her a carrot.
