My Pixel 4 is lasting about 2 hours now. So I just grabbed the Pixel 6 that could get shipped here the fastest. Can't fucking wait.
Got my Pixel 6 yesterday. Pretty good, well built. I got the smaller of the two options, and the phone still feels almost too big for one hand operation. And it's kinda hefty. I'm not looking forward to jogging with this thing.
If anyone needs a tablet this is an incredible deal even if you don't set up the LTE. New condition and 256 gb version https://www.woot.com/offers/microsoft-surface-duo-dual-screen-att-lte-tablet
Do you have one? IIRC MKBHD did not like it....or maybe I'm confusing with another MS device he panned.
I do not. I know the initial reviews were less than great, but after seeing it on sale yesterday i watched some YouTube reviews and it seems like they fixed a lot of the initial issues with software updates. I watched that review in my post then ordered it.
My faithful s10+ met sudden unfortunate demise the other day and after I watched the last (for the moment) s21+ get sold at the store I panicked and shelled out for the ultra. Battery seems awesome so far, if nothing else.
Thanks, please let us know how it holds up. I will be watching to see if it gets A12. It's a shame we are just now getting tablet views after Google canned them in a release following Honeycomb. I loved that version of android and moreso the Xoom experience.
Was sitting around thinking how clutch screen protectors are. In July my dad closed my tailgate without seeing my phone on it. I heard a loud crunch and assumed I'd be getting a replacement via insurance. But I peeled off the screen protector and there wasn't a damn thing wrong with it. Was a Pure Gear tempered glass cover, and I bought the exact same one ha
I wish it was android 11 instead of 10, but allegedly they’re releasing it “by end of year” (seems unlikely at this point). I was using it for the first time today for excel reports and really liked it. Haven’t done much else with it yet.
my previous unlocked Pixels got the regular updates from google when they dropped. now for some reason i'm getting the verizon updates, which are always late. i'm assuming b/c of 5G?
If I had endless money I would buy one for the cheap entry to the form factor, but the ipad is such a great ***** device, I will sit this opporunity out. Let us know how it goes, especially as more apps implement folding/split screen functionality and to a lesser extent OS updates, b/c it's like 1% likely to get 12L, I'd guess.
I just took my P6P out of the case for the first time in forever. It feels so much better without the case.

Wait I didn't see the second link at first. I'd rather 11 than 12. I hate the big fucking menu buttons in 12
My Pixel 3a is starting to have charging issues (namely, the USB-C cable won't stay in easily on any cable). 1) Any tips on helping with that? 2) If I need to get a new phone, what should I get? I am on Fi, prefer a Pixel, I don't mind spending up to about $400 or so (used or new). My 3a is still fine for me on specs, and generally I only do intense work on my computer. Would like a decent camera and good case availability. 3) Happy to consider non-Pixel if it's supported by Fi. EDIT: my wife has a 3a XL I could take over no prob, although I don't really like that big of a phone since I keep it in a front pocket. Still, gotta get something new, I expect. TIA
Why not the 4a or 5a? Also, depending on your purchase date and CC, you might be eligible for a free repair.
Get a safety pin and/or a paper clip and clean out the port on your phone. It happens to me several times a year. Just scrap it out real well and try the cord periodically.
Usually if your cord isn't sitting in fully and rocks back and forth, it's debris in the port. Every time I clean it out, I'm shocked how much garbage is in there.
officially over two years with my 4XL. I'm super happy I got over my reservations about battery life before purchasing it. Hasn't been an issue at all. Will keep rolling with these phones as long as the camera and screens are so awesome
Had an Android system update install today and really like the way the apps I close out now return to their icon on the home screen. Thing seems to be operating even smoother
There was a 12 MB security update pushed to my phone last week. Haven't gotten a single spam text since installing it. Had been getting 3-4 every day at least. Woooo
