how does one find the criteria for a free watch

 

I still wear my free watch but I'm not sure I use it for much of anything

I'm trying to decide if I want to upgrade from a P6P to the upcoming 9a. I don't do games; heaviest usage is via the camera and some weather/radar apps.

 

Anyone have any opinions on whether to get the 9 or the 9a, if both can be had for the same price? Seems like the 9 has more RAM and the 9a has more plastic and a bigger battery, but they seem kinda close to my dumb eyes

 

9 for more ram (future proof) and better modem for call/data/wifi connectivity etc.

I would assume cameras are lessor on the 9a as well.

 

over five years with the 4XL. Thing has been a beast

 

i'd still be there if mobile gaming hadn't necessitated a 7 pro. don't expect i'll upgrade again anytime soon now that i'm not mobile gaming. foldables seem to be progressing nicely (oppo and oneplus doing great work there) so i'm cool waiting on those to be refined.

well this is timely. I would guess even more things are not going to be included on the A series than these 3 things clipped here.

 

I've been a FI guy through and through but this is tempting.

I'm an internet only subscriber to Spectrum and am on the FI flex plan.

That's a decent deal. Fi is calling my name since I can get 2 free pixel 9s atm. The latest Verizon hike has me on the fence

 

Only good for two years from what I see. That said, if it's like my Spectrum internet account, you just threaten to cancel every year, and the retentions people give you the lowest rate possible.

SO supposedly you can lock in a rate with no contract on your end?

 

I was just reading the fine print in what you posted...may have misread.

 

I think the way Spectrum works is that they'll quote you a price for 2 years but if you're not happy you can leave with no penalty?

Example: Spectrum offers $69 for 2 years gig internet, no contract

I sign up can can find a better deal elsewhere a year later, bye Spectrum since I have no "contract".

 

Yeah, I've been tempted. I think with four Fi unlimited lines we're at $125 or so.

 

Bought a Pixel 9a tonight.

Had no intention of upgrading from my 6a but Google sent me a $100 off code + $100 store credit and I added my 10% Google One credit (will use both for my wife's 6 to 9 eventual upgrade). They also will do $165 for the trade-in on the 6a.

$250 for a new phone and $140 towards the 9 purchase later this year was a good deal.

 

I want to wait for the 10, but my 7's screen is starting to get loose. Might just get the 9 this week. I saw some discounts for it

 

This is my exact situation, I just didn't pull the trigger yet. I have the 6a, wife has 6 Pro.

 

7 Pro still going strong here. Planning on getting the 10, though.

 

That's hilarious, my wife has the normal 6 but is eyeing the 9 Pro. I keep telling myself I want to go back to the normal Pixel but Google keeps making it so damn cheap and I don't need a phone with high powered RAM.

Update, Google tossed me an extra $15 on my 6a trade-in beyond the original offer, I've never had them give me anything extra on the previous 4 I've done with them since 2015.

 

Anyone have a Pixel and issues with bluetooth, wifi, and/or hotspot not turning on? Started happening all of a sudden and there are countless complaints on reddit and no solution. Phone is also struggling ot restart, just spins. Was able to put it in airplane mode and it restarted, but it didn't fix any of the issues. I tried restting the network and resetting bluetooth, not dice.

Android 16 is also apparently released, but my phone says it is up to date with 15.

 

Which version of the pixel are you using?

Like right now it will not turn on or detect any wifi then just completely lost connect to verizon. Bluetooth will not toggle on. Now I'm trying to restart it and it is just spinning on "shutting down". The only way to get past this is to hold the power button and up volume to do a "hard" reset.

This is really fucking annoying

 

I have a 9 and the wife has my old 6 and we haven't had any problems.

My 9 is running 16. No clue what hers is running.

She doesn't update her phone until it's mandatory. Meanwhile I'm checking for updates at the 1st of the month.

 

My 8 started doing a thing where it randomly says i have no sim and i have to reboot the phone to get connection back.

 

lol still rocking a 4XL here 5+ years later. Will get the 10 whenever it comes out. Really only care about taking pictures, browsing the web/email, streaming music and having Google Maps

this thing has been such a beast

 

No issues with my 9 Pro.
