The new Botanical Garden expansion is going to be incredible. I can't wait for the work to start once the replacement storage building is done on Monroe
Yes. I'd have forgotten if you didn't post. We live near train tracks, so sometimes the house will shake a little when a freight train rolls in -- they're not loud, but sometimes the house will shake a bit. However; last night around like 2-3, I remember thinking it was too shaky to be a train, so I'm assuming that's what you're talking about.
Was walking to Krog to meet Gaknight to watch the Falcons game and heard a band playing at the Icebox. Anyone ever heard of the Hot Sauce Festival before today?
Steady Hand closing. That makes Eventide, Elsewhere, and Steady Hand all go under in like 1-2 months.
In the market for a new suit. Anyone have any recommendations? I live in Alpharetta/Roswell, but also open to options ITP. I’d say my budget is roughly $500. Nothing crazy but also not off the rack.
Would recommend getting a solid suit off the rack and spending a little more on high quality tailoring. A perfect cut will make (almost) any suit look high end
Bricktop the white aren't you a fan of these guys? https://www.indochino.com/product/h...suit?queryId=d7ebc2aab4691b6f025a2df8dbe62354
Anyone been to the newish Wild Heaven/Fox Brother's? Is it a cool space/good size? This looks amazing
Finally got to try Smiley's Burger Club in Decatur for lunch today. As far as my personal rankings go, it has officially claimed the title for best burger in Atlanta.
Indochino quality and fit is horrendous. Save your money Go Suit Supply, Natalino, or Spier & Mackay. Then take it to Miller Bros tailor to get it fitted, very quality work.
Anybody live just south of East Lake over near Daniel/Parker/Quillian? Been like three drive bys over there in the last couple months. Kinda scary. That's like half a mile from me and I almost bought a house on Parker.
yes. ive only heard the one. about 50 rounds fired into a vacant house south of the lake at barker Bryant park. other than that, ive encountered zero crime and have lived in the area for over 4 years. its still quite rough south of mcafee.
Yeah I have had no issues with crime in the year and a half that I’ve lived on Lilac. I did get my house broken into one time but they didn’t have to break a window and only stole a PS5 so I’m not too shaken up over it.
They had been planning to close when the lease was up because of how much the rent was going to go up.
Rent raises are killing everyone. West Midtown in particular is getting destroyed, with breweries/restaurants seemingly closing by the day.
They need to get rid of all the local staples so that they can open up the first Georgia location of Floofy’s
It’s a cool space but it’s also fairly cavernous for lack of a better term with no outdoor area, which has to hurt. Food and drink were always outstanding though. Just sucks.
I didn't realize they were putting one of those shared reality sports bars at centinial yards. Those things looj awesome.
Lmao what did you say that brought me up? “Hey, btw, do you know a white coach at McNair?” I love that dude. One of my favorite people on this planet.
I was like "I kind of know one of the coaches at your school, he's I think the nephew of Adrian Anderson -- the dude with the cowboy hat." (He was at the tournament as well lol)... Don't think I brought up TMB.
I wish we were there. We went to the Tara Classic and it was a disaster. Us and SWD walked out without paying
