Bill Walton on the call of Kansas ASU!!!! Oh man I can’t wait to ride this epiphany of emotion while floating thru this galaxy that I like to call the game of basketball This is indeed a Christmas miracle
I think members of the Dead and Co are the only living humans capable of getting to stop talking for a second.
He’s on fire tonight in the uga chaminade game. After talking about “Maui gold,” which is either pineapple or weed the other guy says can we call the game? These people are watching it why do we need to talk about it?
The people on the Georgia board are going nuts over Bill Walton calling our game. “The absolute worst.” Clutching their pearls over how he probably does the pot
Shit he does a lot more than that I bet. Seems like the type of dude that would share DMT trip stories on joe Rogan’s podcast
I used to checkout his show on the Grateful Dead Sirius/XM channel back in the day. Not sure if you guys know this but The Dead are doing sports videos now. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/grateful-dead-sports-action-film-926480/
Imagine having a stick so far up your ass you can’t see how awesome Bill Walton is. Also fuck yeah those two things are badges of honor.
Eh I'm kind of in the middle. It can be hilarious but a constant barrage of it for a 2 hour basketball game can eventually get tiring by the end of the game sometimes
he was awful as usual yesterday outside of that liberty/koch dig which was great. heaven forbid someone wants to focus on the game when their team is playing tho
He is one of the greatest Bruins of all time so obviously I am biased. But, I see sports as entertainment. He makes them more entertaining. There were some arguing that he ruined the sanctity of the game which was who my statement was directed at.
I would love to hang out and smoke a j with Bill, having to listen to his stream of conscious commentary when my team is playing is beyond obnoxious though
Walton's story is incredible and so broad that i almost hope the doc focuses on just a smaller part of his life. otherwise, it might not have a satisfactory amount of depth. - one of the greatest college players/careers ever + legendary win streak + coached by wooden - early career peak surpassing just about anyone (nba top 50 with ~3.5 healthy seasons as a star; won an MVP and a title) - debilitating injuries ('78 portland team on track for back-to-back titles if walton doesn't break his foot) - role player for great 86 celtics famously dealt with chronic pain and suicidal thoughts. and famously a vegetarian, dead head, hippie, and stoner. his later-life announcing shenanigans don't even make the top 10 of interesting things about walton.
