    One of my best friends contemplated not renewing his season tickets a couple years ago but only did renewed because of this opportunity. Pretty sweet. His tickets are directly behind home plate 6 rows up.

    Despite my sincere and justifiable hatred of all things Ohio, congrats to the Indians on this year's World Series championship.

    I like a franchise that you can picture in black and white film clips of baggy flannel unis.

    And I love Tito. I wanted the Tigers to hire him when he was available, but they would have had to push Leyland out the door a year early. C'est la vie.
