After basically having his whole RL exposed on TMB, Farva ragging an NFL player for driving a $100k+ car is admittedly top 3 material.
Manziel came out and addressed the argument, but did he address why he 1.) was day drinking, 2.) was driving 90 mph, and 3.) was passing people on the fucking shoulder?
Some folks are really sensitive about their nissans. 0-60 times are the only measure of a super car? If so, there are some really shitty street drag cars running around that are "supercars". Check out this supercar...0-60 in 2.5 seconds!
if i had $100k to spend on a car, i'd probably buy what i wanted and wouldn't care what a pathetic liar from ohio thought about it
Hahaha, yeah Firkle, because you're such a forward thinker with confidence against those who make fun of you.
If I had $170k to spend and wanted a performance car, I'd buy that GT-R because it's by far the best performance car you can get for $170k.
If I had $170k to spend on a car, I'd buy a Toyota Camry and spend the rest on a balling ass birthday party.
I looked up the alpha 9 someone mentioned above and that company makes a gtr alpha 16 that goes to 60 under two seconds on street tires with no weight reduction. That'd feel like a nuclear bomb when you hit boost with 2000 HP.

this bitch http://bustedcoverage.com/2015/10/19/johnny-manziel-police-report-raw-police-video/ We now have the full dashcam video from the Johnny Manziel and Colleen Crowley incident and learn that Crowley has lived with Manziel for the last two months. We also now have the full police report where we learn that Crowley said “He doesn’t need to be here,” when Manziel’s good friend Paul Kruger showed up. Manziel and Kruger are golfing buddies and the two live near each other in Avon, where this incident took place. We also learn that Crowley dropped a “my dad’s a lawyer” line on the cops and mentioned that she “didn’t do shit” and then dropped an obligatory f-bomb. Video is in the link
Buddy of mine is a custom car builder - one of his customers has an Alpha 9 equipped GTR, runs an 8 second quarter mile on DOT tread. Is also a giant piece of shit that they can't keep running for any lengthy period of time. It has eaten like 5 transmissions and something is always fucking broken on it. I've got 2 friends that have owned or currently own one. There's always something wrong with the damn thing. People who are laughing at it like it's a cheap ass Nissan are retarded. It's a pretty neat car, but it's also a temperamental bitch that is certain to eat your fucking wallet unless you leave it bone stock. And if you leave it bone stock, a ZL-1 with long tube headers, pulleys and a tune will eat your lunch. It's still Godzilla but let's not pretend that it deserves to be compared with legitimate exotics like a GT-3 or 488GTB or Vanquish or something.
The 2015 Nismo (which it appears "Jenny" was driving) "stock" is the equivalent of a tuned up past model. It's 595 horsepower off the lot.
The Alpha 9 setup posted above is making a shit ton more power than the Nismo - some ridiculous 4 figure number, really once you start talking about 500-600-700-800hp it's all pretty insane power levels but you've crossed the Mendoza Line where chassis isn't as important as power. I mean, I get that people want to cite HP figures but really the Nissan is outrunning cars with much higher specific power output because of the sophisticated computer-controlled chassis/drivetrain. Usually the Nismo stuff is legitimate though. I am not going to bother going to look up what all it has, but it's obviously more than just a tune. Probably some pretty nice brake and suspension upgrades, it probably is a decent little track day weapon.
jim rome mentioned this earlier: if he admitted to drinking earlier in the day, his girl was drunk as hell, and there had allegedly been some kind of altercation, why wasnt johnny given a breathalyzer test?
It's got some pretty significant upgrades. It was Nissan's mea culpa for toning down the base model so significantly. They also added so much to it "stock" to preserve the claim for the fastest Nurberging lap from a "volume production car."
