Surprised there hasn't been a thread for this game yet. The ratings for the players have dropped and can be found at . The game has a brand new engine this year, and supposedly a revamped WR/DB interaction when the ball is in the air that looks promising.
When did they start being so conservative with overall ratings? There might only be 30-40 players that are 90 and up.
We have an Xbox league with folks from here and some others Play simulation style, do an entire fantasy draft Got folks like fsuNizz Corch Nelson Doug rv12 UnicornDickslam RoyalShocker and others. Really great time, fun as hell Lmk if you wanna join, need 3-5 teams iirc
It wouldn't be a true Madden league without dump coming in drafting an old as shit, cheesy team and quitting after a couple months.
i'd hope to get around 12-15 at least. it'd be nice to fill all teams. but, i just don't see that happening.
Saw it was installed and ready this morning, decided not to take a sick day. I hate being an adult sometimes.
I played the 10 hour EA access trial. It's badass. The game just feels and plays differently and they added a lot of smaller things, i.e. you can bump a receiver off their route if you user a LB or DB. Stuff like that. The new passing feature is difficult but if you can get it done, I can see it being deadly. Nothing really new in CFM and I don't play MUT so I can't help there, but overall, I'm a big fan.
They actually fixed a lot in CFM. One big reported change is that at the end of the FA cycle, players will no longer sign for pennies on the dollar just because you offered them a 7 year contract at minimum pay.
Yeah that's true, I think they just closed a few loopholes, but I meant that they didn't add any new "features". Should've made my post a little clearer. I know that they fixed the main page depth chart when you change schemes, i.e. 4-3 to 3-4.
I knew I was going to have a bad time in m17 when they refused to fix this tiny glitch. I haven't messed with it yet, but they were supposed to allow you to set up draft boards for CFM so hopefully it works pretty well.
Yeah it seems like the depth chart glitch should've been a simple fix but whatever. Yeah draft boards are in too. I already played with it a bit. You basically watchlist a guy like before, but you can re-order the prospects now. Essentially they cleaned up a lot of the issues from M17 and added a few new things, which I'm perfectly fine with if it means this is what they're going to build from. M17 was a good game, but some of the minor issues became inconvenient.
It's a "throw to the spot" type feature called Target Passing. Works amazing for fades to the back of the endzone or just generally leading a receiver to an opening in the coverage. It's tough to get down, though. https://segmentnext.com/2017/08/21/madden-nfl-18-target-passing-guide/
so i'm kinda glad i haven't bought this yet. it seems like there are a ton of glitches in the game. people throwing backwards. fumbles being picked up on the wrong side of the field. just crazy things. i'd be pissed.
We're full. Get on groupme and we'll let you know if/when a spot opens up. We're not drafting for a little bit so no biggie
2 point conversion ball placed at 40 There's another one on a fake field goal, trying to dive into the endzone, this quarterback throws the ball backwards about 20 yards to the square receiver. Can't find the video though
Anyone else having basically no success with any starting rb regardless of who it is while also having crazy success with any backup rb regardless of who it is?
fournette gets arm tackled at the line every play while some motherfucker named tarik cohen is averaging 8 ypc. it is frustrating.
We have an open spot in our league and we're drafting asap, starting with a slow draft for the first two rounds. You need to act fast though Nelson Sean Connery Doug rv12 Can also answer any questions you might have
