Eh, I like having a 4k HDR single-player experience on a big screen. Anything else I prefer monitor.

I ordered the LG OLED BX, and will be using it for my gaming PC....which is also my xbox TV

 

Just made the switch to PC, steam id Chucky_Charms playing mostly Destiny and Warzone rn.

Was going to build but got a good deal on a prebuilt. Ryzen 3700X (wasn't terribly fired up about that but what I got), 2080 Super, Samsung Evo 1tb SSD, 32gb ram.

 

Sent you a friend request. I will play a lot more destiny on PC once cross play is enabled. Right now I have nobody to play with on there so I switch between PS and Xbox.

 

Same. My crew is still on xbox but I can't make myself do it after seeing Destiny on PC.

 

Got the Black Friday Samsung 27" 4k 144hz monitor from Walmart.

 

And borrowed a 24" 1080p 60hz from work for second monitor.

 

I'm going with the LG GL850 myself. Seems to be a popular choice.

 

I have a Samsung 144hz 4K IPS and I love it.

See I can't do that. I have to be sitting up.

 

If I could figure out a way to m+kb laying down as effectively as sitting I’d be so happy.

 

You guys have ideas on how to lower GPU temp on games that aren’t big or graphically demanding?

Been farting around on this Phantom Doctrine game which is basically a lower budget XCOM clone with a Cold War espionage setting. Anyway it does not have amazing graphics but it’s running my GPU at 81 Celsius with AC Valhalla on ultra I was maxing out a 77 Celsius

is it just poor optimization and I just have to turn down the already not great graphics?

 

I think I want to OC my GPU. Help computer.

 

There’s a lot of factors that could be impacting your GPU temps but 77C isn’t really anything to worry about generally. What is your concern?

 

Check what's running in the background. May be doing something like cryptocurrency mining in the background while you play.

I rock it on the Switch, so I am waiting until Spring and trying not to get into any content that spoils new additions too much.

Thanks man, I can't decide and where I live there aren't a lot of places to actually put your own eyes on a damn monitor. A buddy has an LG 32 and he's telling me to stay at 32 but there aren't to many to choose from. Do you wish your screen was larger?

 

32 is huge unless you’re sitting pretty far back. I use a 27” 1440p and sometimes it feels a tad too big

 

I have never once wished for a bigger monitor but at least once a week feel glad I went 32 over 27

 

If you’re playing multiplayer FPS, I think 32 is too big. 27 is even a tad big. If you’re playing anything else, 27 and up is a good idea.

 

i play almost entirely RPGs, strategy and sports games so that might be it then

 

27 is plenty enough. You're going to be playing close to the screen.

Went with this and bought a nice chair to boot. I’m gonna monitor the prices of the Samsung G7 and hopefully see a price drop within a year

I’ve got turn the damn lights off. I’ve got four kids and the wife’s been sick(suspected vid). Been prioritizing and I’ll get to it but am happy with everything so far. No dead pixels. Didnt come with display port cable unfortunately. Ordered one from Amazon

I won't ever get rid of this Logitech G15 keyboard until it dies because it has readouts like the device you made. I believe I picked it up in ~2010 or so, possibly earlier.
