Delivered into my neighbor's open garage. The digits in our addresses are not similar and the dipshit driver skipped the signature part
Nah he walked into his garage apparently and was like "uhh what" The driver just hit "confirmed ID" for the signature or something instead of actually having someone sign
My PS5 was dropped on my doorstep. No bell ring or signature required. Luckily I was home and watching out the window the whole day. Would have been pissed if they just dropped it at the wrong house without making somebody sign.
some packages have tracking which creates a notification upon delivery (amazon for example, sometimes I even get a photo of it sitting on my porch)...but the fact that they don't bother ringing or knocking is confusing. Not everyone has the app or has notifications turned on... seriously just ring the doorbell, even if you are running back to your truck.
Current Order Status To my dearest love, It's been thirteen days of business full since I last spoke of exuberance whilst purchasing the most pleasant computational machines known to mankind. As the joyous tears shed down my moonlit skin that fine evening, whomst among the present could muster a thought troubling our spirits. But alas, I must admit a touch of trepidation in the face of catastrophe. Grit withering like your dandelion wishes flurrying into the blue skies those lovely saturdays on your fathers farm. Oh how i cherish the memories of your scolding remarks of doubt in my late purchases. But I shall see this thru. Stand firm if you will. Against all odds good or foe, i must hold composure still. For the battles waged with superior resources could turn the tides of war. I must go now and return to my chambers to tell a thumper to the lads. They musn't learn of this distress. Your love, Killy
i keep having mouse problems. my THIRD logitech g502 have problems with left click having issues sending a constant signal after a few months of use. any idea if there's a fix for this? any recs for a mouse with at least 5 side buttons?
Ive watched Cohh stream it the past 2 days and the VA is incredible. It’s hilarious and disturbing and enthralling and you can’t look away. Kudos to ZA/UM as they hit it out of the park with the VA
Yeah, some of my favorite games are that way because of the VA, Supergiant games as a good example. The VA is definitely what drew me to the game, that's the main reason I waited for Final Cut.
How are you liking this system? My rig will be 5 years old in June, need something new and want to build but don't think I want to wait for GPU issues to resolve themselves.
I had to activate windows without a key, which should have been done on their end, but it was really simple. Performance-wise, build quality, all that's great. The brightness of the rgb fans is kind of obnoxious but it doesn't bother me really
You should be able to download some software to change the RGB stuff. My fans are corsair, do you know what you have?
Whatever came with the machine. The port on the motherboard labeled "rgb control" didn't have anything connected to it so o figured I couldn't do anything with it. It's not a big deal, it just looks kind of gimmicky
Is it even possible to get regularly-priced GPUs these days, like following Twitter accounts for stock drops, PS5 style, or are they all price-gouged to hell everywhere?
Newegg has gone the GameStop route and offers them as bundles. Will have to get really lucky to find one at MSRP.
When I looked they were mostly selling them with motherboard. Maybe you could re-sell the board? The only thing that wasn't sold in a bundle was a 3060. Nobody wants that! lol
More difficult than PS5 I think. You can get a 3070 or 3080 in a premade computer from I buy power/Dell/etc that may ship in June or July but you get the rest of their components to try to sell off (unless you want them) and try to decrease your overpay...but you’re still going to come out paying significantly more than MRSP. I just lucked my way into getting a 3070 from someone I know locally who went that route with a Dell and has now found themselves a 3080. Now getting the rest of my stuff together to rebuild. My regret for selling my 1080TI last fall when I thought I’d be able to order a 3080 when I decided to rebuild is high.
I’ve been running my laptop that has a 1070 and it’s still fine for 1080p, but it’s struggling with 1440p and really showing it’s age with my ultra wide 1440p monitor. But if you’re still using 1080p monitors the 3060/3060ti would be plenty I’d think. But still difficult to get. Hell, you can’t get a 1000 series easily these days.
i have gigabit internet now. the wired connection is fine and more or less as advertised. the wireless signal is comically bad. the room where the cat5 cable comes into the house is one wall away and maybe 15 feet total from where my pc sits. i already bought a signal booster and tested that, no change. sometimes i get like 100mbs wireless, sometimes less than 10. average probably 35-40. extremely frustrating. where do i go from here? buy my own router i'm guessing
Yes and yes. 5ghz vs 2.4ghz doesn't explain the speed drop off over 15 feet. When I set my phone physically next to the router I get like 600mbps on wifi The connection strength on 5ghz is consistently worse also
That would require me to drill a hole in the wall, which I can't really do or run it along the floor which kind of looks shitty I don't think mesh would help much because the issue isn't too many devices and I'm already literally 1 wall away
basically i want to know if there's some obvious thing i'm missing before i go drop $150 on a router that may not even fix my problem
one of those little usb sticks but the motherboard wifi is even worse so i don't think it's that either
can you use a phone hotspot the check how well the pc connects to it in various locations? a poor connection to it while the phone is by the router would indicate its not a router problem.
