Part 7 of my King of Seas playthrough. Starting to get decent at combat, want to move up to a bigger ship with bigger guns.
Level 6 - UNLOCKED Stage 6 - Quality Assurance: Your system is undergoing a very detailed quality control analysis. We're inspecting your machine for missing screws, loose cards, checking for special requests, verifying the configuration, and double checking our stress-test results. Our inspectors are trained with an eye for detail and ensure that every system leaves our facility with the art of perfection
I like that they go through the effort to add a step and update it for something that takes like an hour, tops
“We go above and beyond in checking for the simplest mistakes our employees couldn’t be bothered to have found the first time around”
I installed my m.2 ssd today and that may have been the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Only went with 1TB but between that and the main drive I should be good for a while
Looking for a game rec for my wife - she loves the idea of the story rich games like Resident Evil, but doesn't do jump scares so it's off. Loves the look and open-world of RDR2, but not that one. Would prefer main character a female. Open world, story-rich, female character? edit: her go-to used to be Sims, but hasn't played that in months.
i have some low-end acer 144hz monitor and it is incredible. i'm stupid for putting off getting something in that refresh-rate range for so long. my anger at my overwatch teammates tripled overnight
Got my new PC yesterday and a new 27" LG monitor. I don't even know what I want to play haha Probably New Genesis next week.
play civ6. cleopatra will talk shit to you like she always does, but your units will look much better when they move
This is going to drive me crazy. I have a brand new LG 24 that I wanted to use for a secondary work screen. Should I match that size with a higher 144hz or maybe going for a bigger or wide one. I want to play Age of Empires, Apex, and Battlefield.
If you are committed to the desktop experience (e.g PC + gaming) then I'd move towards dual 27". One can be vanilla, as you only need one "gaming" monitor. You can continue to use your current 24" with no issues, but it will look really nice when you have two monitors that match in size - and it will look killer if they look similar, such as being from the same manufacturer. If you have the $$$ then sure, go out and splash on dual both. Perhaps if you are tight on $$, then find a satisfactory gaming monitor in the 24" size.
TBH. I bought 2 24's to build an office setup for my business but I kept striking out deciding what path I was taking. Getting laptops and using the screens as additional space to multitask work etc or just get a desktop and sit there. But I wanted a toy so I got this beast coming. But now the 24"s are going to rot if I get 2 27s lol
I game on a Dell 27inch 155hz monitor, then got a 24in IPS monitor to use as a 2nd screen and plug my Xbox into.
With the exception of selling a couple of my oldest ones from ~2008 and ~2010, every non CRT monitor I've ever had, I still have and is in use in some capacity. As long as working + hdmi port, it can be backup tv for the shed/garage or even moved into my office if there is some big multi-game event going on. They should be fine.
Very excited for you and very jealous at the same time. Really need those crypto-nerfed GPU's to get released already
Started The Solitaire Conspiracy on my channel, first two parts are up. It's quirky, I like it, big fan of Mike Bithell so it works for me, I had never played Solitaire before but its still easy to get to grips with it.
What AIO is on there? I’d like to get a NZXT one, but idk if it would significantly help since I have a 2070 Super and Ryzen 7 3700x
So i have my first issues. Apparently i didnt notice anything really wrong. It made minimal noise when not being pushed. But it started making a weird fan noise. Theres also a blinking blue light on the motherboard when shes not working hard. It seems tied to the fans, which i assume they dont know when to kick on full blast so theyre stuttering. when playing a game the noise goes away and you just hear the fans working harder consistently. Second issue! upon opening the case again. I previously opened it to install a WIFI card. (I know this seems odd why not have that installed by DS. Well ill tell you why! I figured id have this wired but my room just cannot accommodate this beast ATM. And my old lady isnt having this in the bedroom. So the office space isnt set up right) Anyways, I realized there is no PCI clip on my GFX card and the card was out of the slot by a bit. Possibly this whole time lol. The clip apparently was one of the few things like sheered screws etc that came out of my case when i opening it up the first time. WTF do i do about that?
What is the connection issue with hardline? Because I can’t regale you enough with how much I have lived my power line adapter to magically send Ethernet connection across my house.
are these fans on your GPU or the fans connected to the motherboard? find the model of your mobo and look up the manual online. it will tell you what the blinking LEDs mean. I wouldn't be surprised if the CPU has a poor thermal connection to the heatsink.
I want an area for this. I don't want to send a wire ATM because where it is now will get moved. And I'm buying a house next year anyways. I don't want to figure out how to send the wire and conceal it just to move it. But I also spent very little time preparing for this. When I get a house my office set up will look top notch.
Power line adapter is movable of course, check it out. No wires to send through any walls, someone in here recommended it to me way back and it’s a beautiful solution.
which brand/model do you have? I may want to get something like that for my office whenever i get my new PC built and put in there.
