DS called. I figured i could use the extra PCI clip that isnt used. It worked. Lol Chyna. Edit they're also giving me a shelf for the card. I don't know why that isn't standard. This thing is yuge.
TP-Link AV2000 Powerline Adapter - 2 Gigabit Ports, Ethernet Over Power, Plug&Play, Power Saving, 2x2 MIMO, Noise Filtering, Extra Power Socket for other Devices, Ideal for Gaming (TL-PA9020P KIT)
There’s a one port option if it’s a single endpoint device you plan to hook up. I have all the consoles and PC there, so this actually is a minor inconvenience that I switch the Ethernet between Xbox and ps as the need arises. I will eventually upgrade to a 3+ port if they exist.
I would think as long as you have three prong outlets, you should be okay? I have lived in an old two-prong household before, god what a trial that was.
Yeah it's 3 prong. The house was built in the 50s though and I don't know shit about the electrical beyond when I plug something in, it works
Need to learn how to fix my key bindings for my mouse. I used to only play PC so switching to xbox was like learning to walk. Now its the opposite lol. But I have a Corsair Dark Core and i need too figure out how to change some bindings because it has a million buttons that atm are useless. And learning 2 sets of keys for shooters Apex and BF is going to piss me off.
Should be able to bind them to keys through the corsair software One thing they don't tell you about those mice is that windows (or maybe it's the games?) doesn't really do 12 mouse buttons, or at least I never figured out how to do it, so you have to use keyboard binds, which introduces a whole other set of problems
Tbf I didn't really try that hard to figure out how out how do the extra mice buttons. I bought one of those Logitech mmo mice for wow and I ended up only using like 3 of the buttons
Well it wont work in BF for some reason. So I guess i need to program the mouse in iCue to mimic the same function?
You don't want functions, you just want direct keybinds, if there is any difference in the software (Logitech does this). Never used corsair but I'm about 99% sure it's in there
you should be able to set up game-specific keybinds as well. my mouse is like 5 years old and can do it
Not the right click left click. The Corsair Dark Core SE has a button where your thumb sits and i wanted to use it to reload or something. Cant figure out to do it in game. Also cant figure out how to enable audio with my headset. I have the turtble beach xbox Stealth 700. I might have to get the stupid wireless adapter. All of this is a lot of work. lol

Depends on the game. I typically change the mouse configuration for each game, which might not be the best way to do it. Some games don’t allow for customization of controls like that, and some only allow for an action to be bound to one key or button press. It should be in something like “Keybinds” or “customization” or something like that
You should be able to change all the mouse buttons in keybind settings. I’ve only got 2 side buttons, but I always use them as “secondary” sprint and slide. They’re always my main, but I keep shift and ctrl as the main binds and use mouse as secondary.
So i fucked around in Corsair and figure it out. Oddly enough it was easy but there was so much shit in there i started making mistakes. Anyways, getting to use my new mouse bindings is annoying. Ive grown so accustomed to my Elite Controller.
Why didn't y'all tell me Dead Cells was so fucking good?!?!? Seriously, i haven't had this much fun with a game in a while. Part 1 of my playthrough here, went with the no commentary route so I didn't have to wait for dead silence or banish the dogs outside.
I got back into streaming games on PC and ps4 again on twitch and got in good with several bigger twitch communities and I'm about a week of good streams from hitting Affiliate and since I'm a PC fucking noob on anything I will be looking for y'alls guidance getting shit and updating my buddy's old gaming pc he gave me as money comes availabe. Here are my specs right now: Dual monitors to help Processor: Intel(R) Core I5-4690K CPU @ 3.50 GHz 4 cores Installed Ram: 16 GB 6 GB of dedicated memory Graphics: NVIDIA Geoforce RTX 1060 6GB ( Really mostly streaming Rocket League, League of Legends, Apex and Valorant, so this would be the last to upgrade because i'm not streaming graphically heavy game) I think that is all you need like I said this is all greek to me.
gotcha, always forget the consoles can stream. Going to have learn all this too when I get my new PC. Nice work on getting close to affiliate so quick, what communities are you working with?
Dead Cells Playthrough Parts 4 through 8 are up. Finally got two of the more important runes, now I'm ready to crawl up walls and shit. And I beat a gigantic eye boss. Get in here...
couldnt get over 144 fps mostly during shooters. So i messed with everything. every setting that suggests using it will "increase fps" does not fucking increase FPS. So i finally turned off "nvidia game overlay" and now BFV on ultra settings gets a minimum 160+ usually around 190s
Path of Exile’s next expansion announcement in about an hour. Past few leagues have been hit or miss as they probably devote more resources to PoE 2 development. I’ll report back with my findings after the announcement later.
Finally got my first successful run in Dead Cells. Can't say enough good things about this game, and such ridiculous replayability, can't wait to jump in again. Just got a review code for an upcoming PC game today so I am jumping into that now.
Cool, I'll post them. Hopefully it's good. I play FFXIV casually for the story, but would like another MMO to play on the side.
Yeah I didn’t pre order but I wanted to try a beta. Will probably watch streams of it though. I’m in the middle of the most fun Escape from Tarkov wipe yet.
Got an Elgato HD60s capture card to help with streaming now that it is an actual revenue stream for me. Pretty excited to use it
Looks really cool to me, but as someone that doesn't really leave the house and always on the PC. It'd just be a dust collector sadly.
Congrats dude, I'm looking forward to following in your footsteps once I can get a new PC built, whenever the fuck the GPU gods allow it to happen.
I played a little, honestly it's just not for me. I couldn't get into the controls much. Didn't like the way it felt.
Going to stick to FFXIV as there's a bunch of things I want to get done before the next xpac in November.
Findings: game gonna be harder. Power creep has been a problem for a bit. They’re amping up monster damage and life starting from act 1 and going forward. Massive support gem nerfs with increased mana multiplier costs that are going to force people to take off an aura or two to have any mana left to cast. Flasks have been an issue and a point of complaint, people would just piano smash 1-5 on the keyboard every four seconds. Wrist pain. Now flash charges don’t recharge during flask effect so you’re going to use them much less, perhaps every 10 or 15 seconds. There are new auto-trigger modifiers you can apply (trigger flask when you get ignited or cursed or what have you to take off said ailment). Chaos damage via poison is buffed 50% across the board and sources of chaos resistance (implicit modifier on boots/amethyst ring) have bumped up a bit. There is so much to process and I have a novice level understanding of all the mechanics. I rely on build guides from those smarter than I to get a good league start (which is this Friday). None of the builds from last league (3.14) or earlier will be viable because of the big changes. There is a lot of salt and panic among the community but it’s better for the health of the game iyam.
Have been a console gamer my entire life and have recently grown accustomed to the Nintendo Switch. The Steam Deck gives me an outlet to dip my toes into the PC market, and have something resembling a handheld console. Not sure if I’ll keep the Steam OS or put Windows on it. The Steam library is pretty extensive, but having Gamepass and the ability to have tons of emulators, is really appealing.
Poetic i finally resubbed to FFXIV first time playing since the first raid of shadowbringers. excited to jump back in before the new xpac.
Hell yeah man, I played at launch 7 or so years ago and ended up stopping cause I met my wife and was doing the whole dating thing. But someone got me into it again late last year and I started a new account. Blasted thru the main story in a couple months it's so good. I'm just doing chill stuff now, leveling my trusts and probably working on my relic but I plan to join a linkshell next xpac and raid. Very casual atm.
