Grabbed a couple of these earlier https://www.bestbuy.com/site/crucia...nal-solid-state-drive/6254400.p?skuId=6254400 Think the sale ends today fwiw
Also installed an nvme drive about a week ago. I think they imagined children installing these things when they came up with the socket orientation and chose the screw size
not sure if this is the right thread for this... but looking for a free (or close to) game to have on my laptop that I can play passively, checking in out it throughout the work day.
Been waiting for the better of the 2k monitors(Dell, Omen, LG) to drop in price and was curious as to what ya'll are running and if you like them? I'm currently running a 1080 27 inch MSI that I got from costco. I like it but my system is spec'd for a 2k setup. I can't decide what to get because where I live(south Al) there's really no where to go and see the better monitors available(and I fucking hate it!).
Picked up Chernobylite tonight. Really excited to try it and stream it tonight I fucking love Chernobyl and anything involving it
1440p, 144hz with Gysnc. Mine is from Dell in 2016. I'm not sure if you need gysnc these days due to the cross certification/compatibility stuff from AMD.
"Small c" cyberpunk fans, check out The Ascent, just dropped yesterday, definitely scratches the itch, fun gameplay and a really well-done world. I reviewed it here: https://superjumpmagazine.com/the-a...ends_link&sk=b222712c35d61e5218b17d5d61276c67
been playing tarkov the last few days with a couple dudes from work who are pretty into it. game is a lot more fun when you feel like you know where you're going at all times
Nice! I'll check out your videos, I'm usually not awake when you go live, glad you are digging it though
I'll upload it to YouTube when I get home. Going to make a highlight vid of goofy clips to run on my channel
Looking to just get a really quick processing pc to just use for streaming OBS and capture game play to help my poor CPU on my gaming pc what say you PC gents Probably leaning more towards a pre-built and turn my current into a streaming pc if I'm willing to save up the cash
I’ve loved this wipe. Level 37. The learning curve is immense but it’s so fun and has ruined all other FPS games for me.
I've been having fun but I'm like level 5 and the grind just seems so daunting when I'm rolling out with my best gear and just lose it. I have a bunch of money but I can't access the market because of my level And then I get shotguns with buckshot in my scav runs without fail The crew I run with is pretty solid but we're still kind of trying to learn all of the extract points on like two maps
you might get a kick out this noob story between the 4 of us we had collected like 6-10 dorm keys from running customs a bunch. loaded up all of our good shit and rolled to the dorms. this is my first season so i'm kind of following their lead and not really looking up stuff. yeah we ran into the dorm boss and he wiped us pretty much immediately
Still on Tarkov. Woods is sweet. Got owned by the boss in factory the other night. Definitely wasn't expecting the sledgehammer Leveling is painfully slow for me so far
I’m on my 4th wipe and finally feel pretty much in tune with most every map and pacing and what to do when questing. Game is hard though. If this is your first wipe, just try and learn maps and pacing.
Is paying to max out low level guns with low level mods worth it? Or should I try to bank as much money as I can before I can access the flea market and just run with what I pick up (within reason)? I'm still only lvl 7 and I have like 400k. The flea market is a long way away Side note: I've been scav running on factory like a mofo and dying a lot, but blasting wounded players when I spawn with a shotgun and slugs never gets old
So ammo is waaaay more important than guns which sucks because you really can’t buy great ammo yet. If I were you I would run an SKS with 7.62 PS ammo. It’s cheap and if you throw a PSO scope on it or an OKP you can still win fights as it will penetrate class 4 armor pretty well. Alternatives are 5.45 AKs with BP if you can buy that or ADAR’s with 855. It’s bad, but you can tap it pretty well and shoot fools in the legs if they looked geared. I would not venture into the 7.62 ak builds without good attachments. The recoil is too crazy. The first thing you should try and do is buy a scav junk box. It’s worth it’s cost and saves you so much inventory space. I spent my first 1.1M on it and have 2. Some buddies have 3 but until I hit 20 I only kept stuff there I knew was rare and hard to find for future quests and sold the rest. I would not run factory as a SCAV. You can’t make money on that map consistently which is what you need to do. I would run customs and interchange as they seem to net the most money. Interchange is intimidating but there’s tons of loot and there’s no better way other than offline play to learn a map. No need to take fights as a scav either unless you’re sure they’ve killed other scavs and you want their loot or you run into s PMC. SCAVing and your scav are separate from your PMC. My first wipe my scav was double my PMC level because I kept dying as a PMC and because I had gear fear. If you haven’t unlocked Jaegar, do that ASAP too. The Tarkov wiki is your friend.
Anyone playing Splitgate? It's a lot like old halo, and portal. Have played a few hours the last couple of nights and really enjoying that as my shooter game over WZ.
I played it when it was first released and it ran like absolute dogshit. Cool concept but haven't touched it since
The one streamer I watched a bunch one WZ, Loochy, started playing and I’ve watched a little. Downloaded it, but haven’t fired it up yet.
If you're a fan of 2D platformers, I reviewed Greak: Memories of Azur and have the first 2 hours of the game on my channel. Gorgeous world, reminds me a bit of Hollow Knight with the quality of the world and atmosphere. Hits Steam on Tuesday.
I resurrected an old computer my Dad gave me to become my work computer, which will let me use my current system as a recording/streaming box. So very soon I hope to be getting up and going on Twitch. Follow me to enjoy all the noob-y goodness when it happens. ThatRescueGuy is my Twitch handle BlazingRebel what are you using for your face-cam? You also have the honor of being my only follower so far, appreciate that

This is the game I've been playing lately. You can X out and it still saves your progress too. It's worth giving it a shot. https://armorgames.com/poker-quest-game/18821
thanks! Hopefully i'll be able to do my first stream soon, got my box moved to the other room today, now I need to figure out a few things about using Twitch and then give it a go.
