I need to be more patient on some of these. I sell at the first sign of stuff crashing and thats killing some potential gains.
I tried to sell 4 of the 6 to recoup the investment plus a little profit and keep 2 for “free” but my limit order only filled for 2 of the 4 before the price dropped. Still in a good spot though, just need red tomorrow.
Watch the volume, the prices get manipulated a lot. Someone will initiate a large sale driving the price down which will force stop losses to hit driving it down even further. When this happens you have to buy the dip if you really want to maximize your position, assuming you believe in the stock to some extent. Otherwise sell and move on but it happens all the time with these stocks.
Who mentioned these? Looks like they'll be getting notification of being delisted from NASDAQ after tomorrow Spoiler Regarding its continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market (NCM), KemPharm has not regained compliance with the market value of listed securities (MVLS) continued listing requirement for the NCM, which is $35 million, or the minimum bid price (“Bid Price”) of listed securities requirement for continued listing, which is to maintain a Bid Price of at least $1.00. The Nasdaq Hearings Panel (the “Panel”) continues to consider the Company’s non-compliance with these continued listing requirements for the NCM. Although the Nasdaq recently provided an extension of time for its listed companies to meet the Bid Price continued listing requirement due to the COVID-19 crisis, such an extension does not apply to the MVLS continued listing requirement. Therefore, if the Company fails to demonstrate compliance with the MVLS continued listing requirement of $35 million for the NCM on or before May 13, 2020, it is likely that Nasdaq will issue a final delist determination and suspend the Company from trading on Nasdaq. Should this occur, the Company expects to apply to the OTC Markets to list its securities on the OTC Venture Market (OTCQB) as soon as possible with the goal of minimizing disruption, if any, in the trading of its securities. Also looks like they missed earnings forecast. I think this one was a bomb, unless they manage to come up with something to stay on NASDAQ.
F it, I'm buying some $MARK. I think it's gonna run with thermal scanners becoming reality everywhere. Should have bought it at .50 when I started watching it. In at $2
If you’re gonna do penny stocks it’s worth it to follow these twitter guys and just blindly throw a little cash at each new position they pump. A lot don’t work out, but some go 3-4x in a day and a ton of them jump immediately after the mention.
Set my sell at $0.67. If there’s a sell wall every $0.02 today, I’ll just let it ride until tomorrow.
It's broken .50 and I didn't sell. If it can maintain this level then I think we're in for another run.
You need to see it as it happens. Being late to the party is not good as quick as this stuff goes South. I can't keep up.
Is anyone still holding MGEN? Was this a dukebuckeye rec? I'm still holding it, didn't realize I still had it.
@ stantradingman @ hugh_henne @ MrZackMorris @ PJ_matlock Here’s 4 for starters. Like somebody already mentioned though, you gotta be extremely quick to catch any initial bump. These guys will tweet about a 0.50 stock and you see it hit within seconds, and by the time you click a new tab, search the ticker and click buy its +10%
100%. They’ll claim no, but they all just post the same stuff and circle jerk each other on the wins and post about all their 6 figure days
Sabby has bought into BIOC per Discord posts. It’s a hedge fund that shorts and is pretty good at it. They played CODX for a month. I don’t see options for BIOC though, so who knows.
