I don’t wanna get ahead of myself or overreact to summer league but I think Jalen Suggs is the greatest player in the history of basketball.
Big Darrell Armstrong guy too. Those heart and hustle teams from the early 00s were fun to watch. Ben Wallace too before we let him get away
We may not win 15 games unless you think JI (cunt) and Fultz are taking some kind leap as players this season.
Probably the best shooter in the draft and he’s 6’10, solid athlete. Also younger than Chet and Paolo.
Really seen both of them play. Either Paolo and Smith would be ok I guess. Just want to be relevant again
i could probably talk myself into any of the top 3 imo. they all have things that worry me about them and that i like chet comes with a bunch of question marks, but he’s a unicorn with his size and skills jabari seems like he can shoot and has crazy potential paolo looks like he has the highest floor to me, but i could also see him being really good too idk, i’m sure i’ll get a favorite between now and the draft, but I’m just glad we get first pick
I’d be fine with any of the Top 3. Just based on athleticism you’d think Holgrem wouldn’t be a dynamic game changer like the other two but then again I don’t know shit about fuck.
I’d be good with any of three. I can’t tell if I think Chet is going to rule or be absolutely awful and I don’t think there’s going to be an in between.
Chet can literally be Rudy Gobert with ball handling and 3 point shooting. He's basically Bamba with a high ball IQ and ball handling. Jabari is somewhere between Rashard Lewis and Tatum and that paired with Franz at the F spots is too tantalizing.
Give me Smith. The frontcourt lineup combos with Wendell, Bamba, Franz, Ivermectin and Smith are outrageous and Smith immediately becomes the best shooter, which the roster desperately needs. Add in improvement/health from Fultz, Cole and Suggs and you have a fun team
Smith's problem right now is his ball handling, but with Franz and 3 PGs (not couting whatever Hampton is) you don't have to force him to create everything on his own at first. You could literally run smallball lineups with Smith/Franz/Okeke (I can't even begin to get excited about Isaac) and 2 guards even against teams like Toronto and Boston that go super small at times.
I keep hoping we’d trade Issac but you know the owners absolutely love that mother fucker. There’s no shot any of his teammates like him
They didn’t even like him before all this shit came out. He invited them all to his sermon a few years back and no one came.
Yall just have so many bigs its tough to guess what direction they will go. Have there been any rumors of trading issac or mostly fan optimism at this point? Coming off an injury, Id imagine he will be tougher to move.
I think we are just sick of his shit. He was actually a very good defensive player and showing some signs on offense before the injuries. I’m guessing he’ll never be the same On court and is such a headache off court. Of course, the owners probably love him…
Watched more clips of Banchero and have warmed up to him a lot. He’s arguably the best prospect in terms of being a #1 scoring option. Basically I’m cool with Smith or Banchero, so long as it’s not Holmgren. I think you bring back Bamba if you want someone like Chet.
Went BPA even though he was probably 3rd in fit. He definitely has the number 1 option upside with 3 level scoring and passing.
Preferred Smith, but I think Banchero ultimately has the best chance of the top 3 of becoming a #1 option on offense. Smith was just the safer pick.
