anyone play maneater yet? chris parnell narrating a shark rpg. seems fantastic. CUtigers you buy everything
What’s your history with Bethesda games? I can see it being worthwhile if I hadn’t already played 5 better games just like it
Consider me as a noob - played CS 1.6 and source in my early days on PC. Owned a ps2 played gta’s solely. Ps4 bought 2 years ago didn’t play much and now I’m playing bc of virus. That’s why I ask for recommendations etc.
Well then it’s understandable you’d enjoy FO4. The rest of us have probably played Bethesda games at least since morrowind and some of us longer than that and they’ve honestly kind of decreased in quality along the way while simultaneously remaining mechanically similar. FO4 was the game that kinda made a lot of people throw their hands up at it all. that being said, if I hadn’t played any Bethesda games up till Fallout 4 I’d certainly find it enjoyable. So enjoy yourself, bro
I still enjoyed FO4. Maybe not as much as previous games though. I also played it on PC and modded the shit out of it. Which is the only way to play a Bethesda game in my opinion. They give us the template and then the mod community actually finishes the game for them.
Imo the list of games I’ve played from Bethesda (or their tree) would go: Morrowind Oblivion Fallout 3 =Fallout NV Skyrim FO4 I was starting to get worn thin during Skyrim because it made some moves that devalued exploration but at the same time, it still had solid rewards for exploration and rewarding quests to find off the beaten path. So at its core, I really enjoyed my first play through even though it became mind numbingly easy. I think FO4s biggest issue for me is that it made exploration even less fun with an way overpowered crafting system and lackluster side quests.
p5 is worth $60 period royal has an expanded story but im not sure how much longer it is. but yeah probably.
I put 130 hours into Royal. Still more to do which I didn’t do round 1 which would have added 10-20 more hours. I don’t think you’d go wrong either way but obv I really loved P5R.
I feel attacked...but, ill grab it when there's a good sale. Watched a little bit and looks interesting.
Friend of mine wasted 30 seconds of his life trying to convince me to play Farming Simulator before I cut that shit off
Drop another iconic IP on us. God of War 5 Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Kojima horror game Next gen update for PSVR
I have to imagine they won't be showing the hardware yet. Which is annoying, but i'll gladly take it for an hour's worth of games
ps all stars 2 bloodborne 2 (wont happen) ratchet and clank killzone other things that we havent seen in a while
PS All Stars would be great. I agree BB2 is too soon. R&C is almost guaranteed, I'm not sure about Killzone but it would make sense, would be cool to see Guerrilla working on both games at once.
Xbox, yes. PlayStation? I’m less confident. I think the former is done with their hardware and about to ramp up production. Sony having not shown the hardware doesn’t inspire confidence in their ability to ship by the holiday season.
I’m fine with that, honestly. I still have plenty to catch up on with my PS4 and just got a Switch. I don’t need the PS5 any time soon.
Me too, especially considering the 3 games I wished for above will be a miracle to come out in 2021 anyway. Maybe far cry will
They will show the console on Thursday and yes it will be out this year. GT7 is my only prediction for an early exclusive. I think it's too early for any other to be out.
I've literally never seen a good launch lineup. The best launch games will be the games that are cross gen for the most part.
