Certain games incorporate it well. One of the bosses in Evil Within 2 would only make sounds come through controller speaker. Creepy as hell.
tlou2 may be dark and depressing but ghost is so much worse. every single quest ends in the most depressing way possible. but the gameplay is super fun
The thing with Last of Us was the facial animations were so damn good it make me feel it more than normal.
Non gamers it is maybe tough to explain it to but I would always say that LOU is the best acting in a game ever. Not just voice work but all of the character work.
bought this on the Steam sale, as soon as I can tear myself away from Subnautica i'm going to jump into it.
Just finished the story on Days Gone. Incredible game that actually had me bought into the story. Deacon St. John is definitely one of my favorite characters I’ve played in awhile.
How good is that game? also, I’m in a predicament here. I started the Witcher probably back in 2018/2019. Almost 1/3 to 1/2 way through. I mainly play the Show and RL and just finished Days Gone. Do I buy Ghosts of Tsushima or TLOU2? Or do I beat the Witcher and pretty much concede that I won’t be playing any new games until the PS5
Subnautica is one of my favorite games of this gen. If you enjoy base building and exploration it’s a ton of fun. If you’re talking about Dead Cells it’s also a top ten game for me and one of the hardest but most fair games ive ever played.
Subnautica.. I’m intrigued, I can get lost in games like Minecraft (yrs ago), Cities Skyline, Conan Exiles. So it sounds like something I’d enjoy
I tried to get into Subnautica and I see the appeal but just wasn't for me. Luckily it was a game pass game
If you own both consoles and have game pass, I believe dead cells and Subnautica are both on game pass right now
Spoiler Was a roller coaster of emotions with finding Sarah and then her acting like the witch. Made me hurt lol Boozer and the dump truck, Skizzo’s bitchass. Just great characters and story imo
If you have a buddy that will play with you then yes. We built some pretty badass structures and then kept migrating north through the map, it’s depressing leaving your home and then building a new base, especially with all the animals/freaky shit you encounter. Definitely worth a play
Just booted up the Witcher... I have absolutely no fucking idea what is going on. Im in a city called Novigrad, sorta remember. Level 14, looking for some bitch named Ciri, definitely remember. Current story mission is The Play’s the Thing and Destination: Skellige
Subnautica is incredible, 100% if you like the discovery and crafting aspect of things you will love it.
nope, just single player. The only way I could have seen them implementing that would have been other players wandering around, like Journey, but they have said single player only.
Obviously this isn't the Xbox thread, but i watched and wrote up the Game Showcase they did today. They didn't show much gameplay, even knowing people were pissed about the last stream. And I didn't think Halo looked that great either
