instead of more buttons or even just more appropriately placed ones theyre giving us a useless feature that a large percentage of people will turn off day 1

Yeah I need more buttons and less gimmicky bullshit. I don't care about rumble, or speakers, or touchpads...Buttons should be the next evolution of gaming.
it wont ever happen but if the face buttons just didnt exist and were put elsewhere i think we'd be a lot better off. i bought a scuf vantage and that thing is amazing. there's buttons on each side of the controller and paddles on the back. i didnt think i'd love the side buttons but i vastly prefer using them to the paddles after getting used to it. i also prefer the staggered stick layout
I hate the offset sticks so I definitely hope if that ever happens we have a choice. But definitely want some back buttons and what not.
it really depends on what im playing. things that require dpad use during gamplay i want to reach up to it. but i hold the controller in a strange way so my thumbs touch often and it throws ofd my aim.
I've heard others say this but I guess I've just been using the PlayStation controller so long it's the only controller that is comfortable to me. The offset feels to high for my thumb to rest on.
Seeing what they are doing with the controller makes me concerned what they will do with the actual box. We don't need anymore visual fidelity. We need better performance.
Wish they’d go more towards secondary market controllers. Let us move the sticks/dpad to where we want them, include paddles, and let us change key binds.
I don’t think I ever realized there was this much angst with ps controllers. I added kontrolfreek knobs to one of mine but more just to try it out. It’s ok and a little better I guess but not a game changer for me.
I like ps4 controllers, but then again I don't really play other consoles. My only complaint would be its sometimes hard/uncomfortable to utilize the L3/R3 sticks as press down buttons instead of solely movement
Speaking of controllers, i have a hard time keeping my thumb on the sticks at times, what add-on/grip enhancer do y'all like best?
My pro likes to occasionally drop the output signal for a few seconds in the middle of a game. Especially when I’m on killstreaks.
I really hope it doesn't but why go to all the trouble of making a design like that if you're not going to use it. As was just shown, the PS4 was just a plain box.
It's ugly as hell but I can see why they might think it's cool as it looks so retro. Could care less what it looks like though as long as it has good games
I think incorporating a V into the design could be cool. Definitely needs a few more iterations though.
Yep, I don't care what it looks like as long as it is a good console. Still holding out hope they go for performance over visual fidelity but I doubt they will.
