How much different is P5R from P5?
Never played P5 but P5R had 2 new confidants and a 3rd semester (basically a longer Palace). Plus an apparently significant amount of QoL changes.
if you haven’t played either and get a PS5 vanilla P5 is essentially free so play that. If it’s on sale I do recommend P5R. It’s basically the definitive edition at this point.
Yea I’m playing P5 because free.
Got lucky and snagged a PS5 disk console during the Target drop today. Got to love the same day pickup. Went from a launch PS4 to a PS5. Big difference when playing Ghost of Tsushima now.
If you have PS VR, make sure to cop Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Moss from the PS Store. Supposedly they are the 2 best VR games and they’re free
Astro Bot is so much fun in VR
John Wick-style ninja action. I can handle it
Finally got one... downloaded Black Ops but when I go in to game and click Warzone, it says no game or app found?
I just beat Persona 5. Wow, what a game.
You still need to redownload Warzone
ok just from PlayStation store? I thought if it was on Black Ops start up, it would’ve just downloaded from that. Thank you
Glad they are saying that ahead of time. I finished Ratchet the day before they announced the 60 FPS patch.
what the fuck
Hmmm, might have to cancel my PS5 pre-order of this now. Good move Xbox, good move.
What settings do you all use when you play MLB The Show? I have tried to get into it twice but it doesn't really do it for me for some reason, but there are different ways to hit and pitch so maybe I just haven't found the right one yet.
is Godfall any good?
Nope very tedious with limited payoff watch Skillups review on it.
Anyone have a charging dock review after a few weeks/months? Debating whether to get one.
I think it's pointless to own. Mine is sitting in the ottoman. I just use the USB cable to charge from the PS5.
Works great. Have had zero issues. Always set my controller on it once I'm done playing and my controller is always charged.
Can verify, this is an appropriate review
I can't even find one to buy
I still haven't been able to get a PS5 :-(
So am I the only one mad at this?
Is it free for ever for them if they have that or just the month?
game pass titles are usually on there for around a year
That’s bullshit then
Not as mad as Twitter seems to be. If I want to own it, I'll buy it on PS. If I want to only have it temporarily, then I'll just do gamepass. These types of games are usually not returned to after the first few months, so it seems like gamepass is the better option. Not really sure it's the big scandal some are trying to make it out to be. I am interested to hear how much Sony got paid, though. There would be understandable outrage if something like this happened with a new God of War, Last of Us, or Horizon caliber game, but this is a baseball game with different publishers for different systems.
So what is this play at home initiative and is it like ps plus where I can add a game to my library without actually downloading it?
That’s what I got from it
Yeah it's just straight up free games even if you don't have PSplus. I did have to click download and then cancel to add it to my library, though. Planning on finally playing Subnautica
Started Nier:Automata back up and am enjoying the Android sex boys.
I downloaded persona 5 but don’t think this is my cup of tea
I couldn’t get into it
I thought so at first too. Now I’m going on my second play through and I love it. The music, the characters, it’s all very fun.
I didn’t have much time earlier to respond so I didn’t finish my thought on this. The game does take a while to really set you free and let you explore, which is really what makes this game so great. So those beginning parts with the first Palace are definitely just to get you used to the mechanics and shit like that.
If you get through the second Palace and still really don’t like it, then maybe it’s still not for you. My personal favorite was the 4th Palace, and it was all downhill for me from there. The story in this is amazing though.
I can honestly say this is a Top 10 game all time for me.
I have it but have been hesitant to start it because I'm not too interested in heavy dialogue games at this point. Even though I love the rpg stuff, these types of games tend to be super heavy with the dialogue.
Is subnautica any good?
It’s fucking great. If you’re down for a base building single player game, it is fantastic. A sneaky top ten experience for me from last gen.
Ok thanks, going to give it a shot since it’s free with PS+
I played it when I think it was first on gamepass and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surptised
One of the better base building exploration games
I posted on the last page but I'm really digging this game. I'm about 30 hours into it and it's a lot of fun. It does open up a bit more after the 2nd castle and the characters and setting are great. This is definitely not a game I typically play but after seeing it consistently listed as a top 10 PS4 game I thought I'd give it a shot. Glad I did.
In that genre, Stranded deep was fun but it missed on a few creature comforts that could’ve made it infinitely more enjoyable. Ark needs a single player mode that is functional, because it has slot of aspects to it that would be very fun in that regard
I had the same thought process. “Everyone loved this, it must be decent.”
