Yes. The Nintendo Switch for about 3 months. I looked for a Switch Lite daily for about 3 weeks because my wife got ahold of Mario Odyssey and wouldn’t let me continue my games. lol
And I just got a disc version from Walmart. Going in and out of stock there. Subscribe to Wario64’s twitter with notifications. Great at giving updates when things go live for this.
Did we feel like we didn't know anything about the Switch though? I feel like we knew a ton about it even if I was skeptical of the whole switch premise at first. Most people on these preorders are just "ps5 that's all I need to know" ... Or they're resellers
was finally able to get one from Walmart, disc version. Errored 4 or 5 times when I pressed Order, finally went through and charged the card, we shall see if it sticks
I guess I just feel like I havent seen a lot of it (software mainly) or we are learning things just in the last couple of weeks like even the measurements of the console just came out. I just saw the $70 games story come out. I'm just used to seeing a lot more in the run-up to major new hardware. This has been mostly secretive until it's just about to launch.
The $70 game thing has been around for months. I'll give you we haven't seen a ton of next gen gameplay. I think this year has played out much differently than it would have under normal circumstances. We would have seen a lot of this at the big conferences probably.

Follow up to this: There are a lot of people setting up fake accounts, bidding these up to unrealistic prices, and forfeiting the purchase to run out the clock on scalpers while the supply catches up to demand. Also doing this with the new RTX. Bless them for fighting fire with fire.
Yeah, you'd think they would have allotted 1 PS5 for each email they sent out, and then send additional emails out for the amount that were left over.
Didn't realize Street fighter V was on PS+. Good example of a game I wanted to just play a few times but not really pay for.

this preordering shit is a nightmare. My buddy put his actual email in the Sony pre-order form and received it in less than a day.
This has been something. I got to the front of the queue to get where you are supposed to be able to preorder only go to a screen that says we are trying to get you in. We're experiencing very high traffic. My wait time is more than an hour. No one could see this coming.
I got busy at work and lost track of time.. Clicked on it an hour late and was somehow able to get one right away. Went Digital w/ headset and extra controller
Site keeps crashing. I had something in my cart. Put in all info and then site died. I loaded again and it said my cart was empty....but I didn't get a conformation email.
So I was finally able to preorder but never got a confirmation email. That's probably not a good sign hahaha.
