I agree. Once Christmas is over the bots will reduce. Parents would have gotten their kids PS5s for Christmas and that should diminish half the demand.

I found some dipshit’s Twitter that sells membership access to bots or something and he just retweets everyone posting pictures of dozens of consoles at their house. Engineering a nonexistent supply and driving the price of an item to 400% its value is never a hustle. Fuck these people.
I had a dream last night I picked up a ps5 from the store and immediately got robbed walking out to my car. Actually the thieves were waiting in my car and got out of it as I approached.
It has good reviews but I've played plenty of games that had good ratings that I just couldn't get into. Was worried this might be the same.

So a few things for you guys. Follow and get tweet alerts from @solelinks they are always among the first to tweet when they go live on sites. Costco, target, Sam’s and Sony aren’t getting botted you just have to be on immediately. If you aren’t in the Sony queue within a minute or two don’t waste your time. Also, I find it hysterical that people blame resellers for what the resale market is. Misplaced blame. Sony knew they were launching and they do this shit on purpose to drive sales, every company does. If there is something to make money on people are going to do it, don’t hate on someone who spends their time learning how to make money just because you’re sour you didn’t.
I’m not sour that I haven’t abandoned a moral code to make people pay higher than retail for something they derive pleasure from in a year that has brought financial hardship and misery to a lot of people. You’re a cunt.
Lots wrong with the post above. By most accounts, the queue randomizes once you're in. It's not first come, first served. Scalpers are trash and blaming Sony is dumb. This isn't driving sales. People aren't more likely to buy a PS5 because they can't get one. These aren't limited drop kicks. Sony also isn't recouping the margins the resellers are getting. The retailers should be managing against bots, which some are. You can blame Sony for limited production, but that shit happens with every launch. Hell, the switch is still hard to find. Microsoft seems to be doing slightly better, but that may be due to demand or better production.
A coworker of mine gave me a depressing sob story today about how she’s tried everything, even following some Wario 64 Twitter account, to get her kid the PS5 he won’t stop asking for for Christmas. Scumbags like you are the reason she’s not going to succeed.
