So am I the only who didn’t get one? Lol me I suck
You’re not alone
No. But I haven't tried
yeah I stopped after the initial frenzy. I read an article about the TV needed to get the full effect and I’m not looking at upgrading my tv for a bit so it made stop being in such a rush. I’ll get it I figure in June/July or when it’s easier.
Just finished the RE3 remake. That was...fine. RE2 remake so so much better tho.
Valhalla installing as I type.
12/17 order shipped this morning, be here tomorrow! Finally!
I started playing RDR2 finally and while I do like it and plan to keep playing....it seems like there is just way too much stuff going on. Is it just me? Like too many random controls to remember and random things to remember to do. Maybe it just seems like that at first? It's also super cumbersome to control, more so than the other rockstar games.
I've also started playing Ghost of Tsushima, and it's marvellous so far. Although I think I'd prefer a mini map over the swooshing wind thing. Aesthetically it's nicer but I'd prefer a little map to show where I'm going. And the camera can be a little wonky at times.
For many like myself this is the game's fatal flaw. It's just too much and to a point it's not in a good way. Even the hunting became cumbersome and not worth the payoff. The story and graphics seem to be great but it just wasn't fun to actually play for many.
OK, I think I'm addicted to ghost
haven't gotten one yet either, but cyberpunk bombing has kind of dampened my motivation
Can someone direct me to the post with everybody’s psn usernames and/or activision IDs?
Must be nice
Has it bombed? My very casual impression is that its a fun game with bugs.
12/17 order is out for delivery!
Bugs sounds like an understatement
it’s a mess on console but it will be good and a pretty damn good but buggy game on PC
if you haven’t played it yet you will be greatly rewarded if you wait for the next gen upgrade dropping this spring. By then there will have been plenty of patches and upgrades and they are releasing all sorts of free content this year as well
Yea I decided I’ll wait until somewhere around Father’s Day to get Cyberpunk so they can fix some things and release some extra stuff.
How many video game systems are in that room?
Man has two gamecubes
So we’re just overlooking the Pikachu N64?
Is that an N64 Pokemon edition?
this Is some king shit lol
2 game cubes, snes, nes, Wii U, a pikachu 64. What else you got
I spied an Atari 2600 and a PS1 as well
i owned that table at one point and it's such a weird design
but also the lady only charged me $40 so I couldn't complain
it’s all my wife's stuff. she collects them. here is the full collection:
plus a ps4 and switch in our bedroom. and the ps5
Dreamcast was so ahead of its time
Give me a power stone remake dammit
Also Tobias whats it like knowing your wife is cooler than you
are they all connected to the TV?
not currently but they’re all operational and got all the cords
that's an incredible collection dude.
Can I write an article about y'all?
Hit me up in PM with your email if you're down, I'd love to write about the process of her collecting all that.
Dreamcast underappreciated machine
my 12/17 order still hasn’t shipped
My 12/17 still has not shipped yet either. I'm hoping Wal Mart doesn't cancel it
My 12/17 order is hanging out, somewhere, with you other guys' 12/17 orders that haven't shipped yet. I bet they're having a grand time.
what tv is needed for full effect? Have good TVs but idk if one I play on is what is needed
a 4K 60hz TV is fine I would think
Will it work fine on like any regular good hd tv though too?
Yes, it just looks a lot cooler on a 4K
think it has to do with the frame rate and what hdmi it supports. I want to say 4.1 and mine fo 4.0 unfortunately my TVs aren’t that old and in great condition. No way I’m upgrading so fast.
I read a couple articles and that’s not the case. You don’t get the full effect not having tv that can handle the full power of the machine.
Sorry I’m from the future and I just gave myself away
This is probably overblown, honestly. The idea that any PS5 game will be more than 4k60 is likely a pipe dream given that top of the line GPUs currently struggle to do it and the PS5 won’t be magically getting stronger over time. The 4k120 stuff is just marketing talk, any game with any complexity to it won’t be running at 4k120 on PS5. I’m honestly concerned we may end up inching back towards 30 FPS on the top of the line games as we enter the 2nd half of its life cycle.
The other benefits of 2.1 will be there eventually but that’s probably mostly the VRR, which will be nice. But if you have an HDMI 2.0 4k60 TV you aren’t going to have a bad experience. I was worried about it for a bit but less so now.
I’m sticking with my 2.0 4K tv for now, 2.1
needs another year or two to be more competently added to new TVs and there’s no sense waiting that long.
just when I’d told myself it was for the best that I didn’t get one.
I do think there’s gains to be had in developing with known hardware constraints on console compared to PC, but yeah I agree with you. 4K120 will have to be some (comparatively) dumbed down graphics. Most TVs don’t even do that so I don’t know why they’d target it.
4K60 is still a chore for most GPUs so I wouldn’t expect much further from consoles.
