Yes. Outstanding game.

 

Suikoden 3 was one of my favorite games I ever played. I don't really remember what all it was about, but I liked getting the 108 people to join my city and watch it grow.

 

Did you ever play 1&2?

 

no, but after reading about it, i'm going to have to.

My mom bought my suikoden 3 because she said she knew I liked "weird japanese games". I was bummed because I think it was FF 9 I wanted. I'm grateful for her mistake.

 

2 is my favorite JRPG of all time.

I can’t even explain how excited I am to replay it.

Man Gotham Knights is not being well received whatsoever. Wasn't expecting that.

 

I know there are a lot of amazing games out there. But man, I wish flagpole games and sports franchises weren't so bad.

 

I feel like this age in video games is for indie developers, they obviously care a lot more.

 

felt like 10ish years ago, there were just good sequels and big budget games all the time.

 

Peak gaming was probably 07-12. There were multiple amazing games every year.

I think between longer dev cycles and other things like mtx and all that gaming kind of sucks now. Sure there are still some amazing experiences sometimes but it could definitely be so much more.

 

Have you been into the thread on it? It's been getting crushed for a solid year.

 

I always hoped I was wrong about it but it never looked good.

 

oh I didn't see the thread and had no idea. I wasn't expecting 10s but I thought it was just going to be another "solid Arkham-desk game". I HATED the last one but thought this was going to be similar enough to get 7.5/8 range but yeah apparently that was expecting too much

 

It’s a sad state of BR modes, micro transactions and AAA developers taking stuff from wildly popular small budget games.

oh and remakes, which are almost always done half assed

 

NBA 2k makes it impossible to just play the game. The myplayer mode is everything but basketball.

 

There was a tweet from Ronnie2K that stated that’s what the people want, some dude followed it up with a poll and it was like 75% of 2K fans currently hated it.

 

if Ronnie backs that up with gameplay data then that would trump whatever a poll says. But who knows

 

Feel like thats akin to saying people want to watch bad football because they watch the Amazon Thursday games. People seem to play 2K no matter what. Just like Madden.

 

Arkham City was outstanding.

 

just asked my buddy how the new MW campaign is going, as I saw him playing it on the PS5.

He said, "lol yeah, I am playing it. it is a war crimes simulator"

I love my Mil-Sims and FPS. COD is not for me, I get the whole you’re a special ops person, but give me this kind of war game over and over.

 

It could have been outstanding but got bogged down into being Arkham Battle Tanks. Still think Arkham Asylum was the best one of the series by far.

 

Maybe that's the one I meant.

 

Arkham City was definitely the best. Arkham Knight was the one that had too much tank going on. The rest of it was great though.
