Kinda. I pre-ordered through Best Buy like 5 months ago or whatever because I knew it'd be like this now.
You make that sound like it was an easy process then but it was just as much of a shit-show as it currently is. I got my preorder in only because I was refreshing the PS5 subreddit that night trying to figure out which retailer was going when.
I didn't end up having difficulty getting a pre-order. I read somehere that Best Buy had pre-orders then just went to their site and ordered one. Guess I got lucky.
I think they allocated them by store, and since students aren't on campus this year the demand for pre-orders around here was probably way I set what it normally would have been at that store.
Best Buy has the Arctis 7p in stock this morning. I just grabbed a pair. If you’re thinking about these, jump on them because it’s another item that’s going for practically double the price on eBay.
I wish sites would announce all orders are for delivery on 12/23 so that scalpers have less time to resell.
Trying to decide what to play next. Got the PS5. Planning on getting Cyberpunk around release. So I’m debating playing something else I can finish in about two to three weeks. Final Fantasy XV is probably too much? Hollow Knight? Persona 5 is almost definitely too much...
Oh no. I’ve done all the other mandatory choices. I think I’m going Hollow Knight. I tend to be a completionist, so I think a 50 hour game would be perfect.

oh dang, i got lucky then. I just finally decided if I was going to get better at warzone I needed a headset. I’ve rocked the PS4 with just the earbud for party chat for like 6 years. I don’t plan on a ps5 till next COD comes out.
Hollow Knight is awesome, but if you’re a completionist it’s hard as fuck and is probably longer than 50 hours.

You can download it to the remastered version for New Game+ and pop all the trophies you have instantly, if you care about that sort of thing.
I mean, yea pretty much. Not too much interest in Souls, so it’s either Valhalla or Morales in terms of new PS5 games. People who haven’t gotten one yet aren’t missing out on much, if we’re being honest. There’s no harm in waiting. I only got one because it fell in my lap. I had already stopped putting in too much work to get one.
I called meijer a couple weeks ago to find out if they'd be getting any and the guy told me that they were only getting them for black friday and that each store would have a certain amount of systems allotted to them so this might be a little better than like Walmart where it's a free for all or even playstation direct since the bots won't be able to buy some unless there's inventory by them.
So, here’s my situation. Staying in a cabin in the woods with wife and kids. The closest GameStop is in the tiny town of Murphy, NC...approximately 35 minutes away. I figured maybe they won’t have a huge line, so I wake up and leave the cabin at 4:30 this morning. My wife is cool with this because she knows the only Bojangles in the area is next door to the GameStop, and I can bring home breakfast. I arrive at GameStop at 5....and there’s a line of 20 people. No chance at a PS5. Also, Bojangles doesn’t open until 6. So, I’m just half asleep sitting in a Bojangles parking lot waiting. Yay.
