Doom has been amazing but it’s a bit much at times in terms of just wanting to chill and play. Rocking some Spawn in MK11 right now and looking forward to it’s new dlc
I bought the Mafia Trilogy bc I want that Mafia 1 remake. Mafia 1 doesn’t release until 8/28 so I paid $60 for a port of Mafia 2 and the “upgrade” of Mafia 3 (which was free)
I loved the dlc. They did crank the difficulty up and I hadn't played in a year so it took me a while to remember how to do shit.
Getting angry over women and gays being in vidya games in any capacity is the only way I can get an erection
It's not like they exist in real life, so why the &%$# should they be in a video game unless it's just to make sure you have something to look at with tits bigger than original Tifa?
The main lesson I’ve taken from comment sections and video game Twitter is that outrage culture is most intensely propagated by the ones who like to act like it’s the SJWs fault. The Quartering crew needs a nice firebombing
At the point I’m at yiu have to travel so far to even do two of the missions. I get that’s the point but still. Doom has me just in classic arcade mode at the moment. It has a classic mode. You can get 1ups but if you die you have to start all over from the beginning. I can’t fathom that level of insanity
Started playing Fallout 4. Something about the picture is just annoying and straining my eyes. Am I crazy here? The graphics are just...weird...
Going through my old shit and found my original Nintendo Power Final Fantasy strategy guide. It terrifies me we used to play multi-hour role playing games and if the system glitched or you didn't turn it off the correct way you might lose all of your data. I get sweaty just thinking about wondering if my save would be there every time I booted up Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior
I meant in terms of PS+ release. They made the last two available March 6th I think (Farming Simulator and Skylines).
Yeah for whatever reason they announced and released this one early. Usually the announcement is the last Wednesday of the month, and the new games are available like a week later or something.
They're doing a State of Play on The Last of Us on Wednesday, supposed to be similar to the one they did for Ghost. I will be skipping it, don't want to see too much, I can wait for 3 more weeks. http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2020...ing_this_wednesday_the_last_of_us_2_deep_dive
Yea i really don't see the point, lets be honest, the actual gameplay part of TLoU isn't exactly why its so critically acclaimed.
I really loved the gameplay in the first one, the story was better but I've never understood the dislike for the play mechanics. The only part that ever bothered me was Ellie running around and being invisible to the enemies, but you gotta make some sacrifices to make it a game.
Finished Persona 5 Royal today but fucked up. Spoilers/situation below. Spoiler got all the way through and got the “best” ending. Little did I know how important the Counselor confidant would be. You have to get him up to level 8 or 9 before he leaves the school or else you can’t do the 3rd semester. So basically I just played regular P5. 130 hours down and not really sure what to do. Currently leaning toward NG+ because I already maxed out all the knowledge and all that. Want to max our all the confidants but fuck it feels daunting.
Dunking on the incels boycotting the game isn’t a bad idea. I hope they cram their success down their throats.
How pissed would you be if you're stealthing a section and Ellie spazzes out and incites a horde or clickers to your location? That was really the only way to make it work since you can't account for her actions.
I bought this game about a year ago and played for maybe an hour. Almost every RPG ever sucks the first ~5 hours, but seeing you put 130 hours into it makes me rethink going back to it. I just couldn't get past the waking up and doing mundane stuff. Also not that interested in being in high school again.
no doubt, i completely agree, I guess I misspoke when I said it bothered me, it was more along the lines of I could see why people would dislike that portion, but I thought the rest of the action was great.
I wasn’t either but it worked for me during this quarantine. I ended up loving everything about this game. I liked the social stuff best so getting through each day was easy. Deciding what to do was the tough part (wish I’d known: always choose interact with confidants. You get knowledge, charm, etc from those interactions too so spending time in the batting cages is not as important).
im sure they refined it enough that is more than just good not great stealth and slightly better than rockstar gunplay. luckily even if they havent the stealth is goos enough.
guys there was clearly a story reason for that Spoiler they cant sense her because she is infected, probably
Anybody recommend Doom and or Wolfenstein 2? Ps store has a good deal on a package of both now for $20 each
Atreus had different behavior in battle throughout the game though, early on he didn't do anything unless you commanded him to shoot arrows, then he started attacking mobs on his own or even CCing them and at a later point just ignored all your commands entirely when he was going through the moody phase.
But the infected relied on sound? Hence the clickers. Also doesn’t explain humans completely ignoring her. It didn’t bother me personally, but it did kind of ruin the immersion a bit. Pt 2 won’t be perfect, but I’d imagine they’ve come a long way in 7 years. Also, I’m not even sure Pt. 2 will have very much NPC co-op anyway.
