that's a hell of a start, but you must add Horizon Zero Dawn immediately. Sorry if I have missed it previous, but have you ever had a Playstation before? If not, get the Uncharted Collection and Bioshock Collection as well.
Oh I have Horizon as well. It was just kind of coincidence those games lined up and I thought about how much it would suck to not get to play them
ah, gotcha, i took it to mean those were the first four you were playing on a new PS4. Carry on, enjoy, I can't wait for GoW too.
Texting Jean-Ralphio to tell him to hurry up and beat Far Cry 5 so he can get to God of War. He states that God of War might not be his type of game and then further reveals that he never finished The Last of Us ... SHAME HIM!!!
Amazing and yes it is , play it on a harder difficulty with a custom HUD with no enemy health bars and no on-screen pop ups that is the way to experience this game
It's great. It's not as open world like Skyrim/GTA/Just Cause but much more so than its predecessors.
Why does HUD bother people so much? Its not like i dont know I'm playing a video game and I like to know what the hecks going on.
Downloaded the Detroit demo. Don’t even bother if you watched psx in December. It’s just that story again. On the fence about the game. Think it might be a bit too slow for me.
i tried playing it with immersive controls, with touching the pad to get everything to pop up; was a pain in the ass not knowing how much life i had left and constantly hitting the pad.... was playing on too high a difficulty lol.
I feel the screen shake plus blur is enough to tell me my life bar plus I love the not knowing the bosses health bar because it adds that extra sense of terror when you don't know how close you are to killing as boss. The game does a good job of showing damage and bleeding eenemies to show how hurt they are.
Do any of y'all follow Colin Moriarty's latest venture, Colin's Last Stand? He's always been one of my favorites in the industry, and the stuff he is doing now is great. Highly recommended if you are a Playstation fan, and he is doing some great retro stuff too, today he put out a podcast tracing the history of the PS1, so many memories. And on that note, for those who had a PS1, what were your favorite games? Bushido Blade, Shadow Man, Syphon Filter, Soul Reaver come to mind for me.
Syphon Filter, Threads of Fate, Robopit, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot series, FF Vl, Parasite Eve , Ape Escape
Thoughts? On today's Sony Blogcast, chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios Shawn Layden revealed the plans for what Sony's bringing to E3 this year. In lieu of a traditional press conference, the publisher will instead focus on "deep dives" for four upcoming exclusives: Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, Spider-Man, and Death Stranding. Layden also says that Sony will be announcing third-party publishing partners as well as new indie titles. The publisher will not be revealing any new hardware.
Took a trip down nostalgia lane tonight. Had to DL an app on my PS3 tonight and literally took me 15 minutes to figure shit out, enter card info, and then set the app up. It was a trip down memory lane, so used to the 4 I completely forgot how to operate the 3.
Tried out the demo for Detroit: Become Human today at a buddy's house. Think I'm gonna go pick that up
Downloaded the Jak & Daxter Collection today on PS4, reminds me what I love about the series and also what I hated about PS2 games (camera control was crap, wonky controls, etc.) Still love it and will play all 3.
its about time. Surprised it's officially licensed. sucks that the headset function apparently requires it to be plugged in via usb.
For it to come so fully customizable that price point is a fuckin winner. Not to mention it’s a licensed product. I much prefer this controller made as a joint effort with the premier performance controller company as to whatever it is that Microsoft is doing with their elite.
