It requires dismembering different parts of the monsters to farm them for weapons and armor and also to weaken and gain the advantage.
The Die Hard (1) game mode in this game was legendary. Working your way up Nakatomi Plaza to kill the different bosses was incredible. Played it all the way through hundreds of times. Probably didn't play the taxi or airport game modes but a dozen times.
Depending on your child’s age, they could probably enjoy it at face value. You have a dude (or chick) that uses a big ass weapon to kill some really cool looking monsters. After that, unless you really want to get heavily involved with armor builds and grinding, it probably loses all replay value. I love it. I have over 500 hours on it right now. But I’m obsessively masochistic when it comes to grinding on games that I enjoy. And there is a SHITLOAD you can grind for.
What did you guys think of Beyond Two Souls? I’m about 3 hours in and I’m hooked. I’ve gotten chills a few times now.
It’s been awhile since I played but I remember liking it a lot. Games like that are what I like about the ps system so much.
It got almost universally disappointing reviews but I watched a full playthrough on youtube and loved it.
Got some PSN gift cards for my birthday. Should I buy God of War for $50 or Dying Light Complete Edition for $18 and a bunch of other shit?

Spoiler - Kara, Luther and the girl made it to Canada - Markus started out peaceful but caused a violent revolution - Connor became friends with Hank, however , Hank died in the plant. Connor joined the Androids
Just bought an external 2tb hard drive. I was getting tired of having to delete things every time a game needed an update even though my ps4 still had 30gb of free space.
If you are planning on just playing CPU, its great. If you are going to play online, it's much better since patch 1.11, but it can be frustrating at times.
Wife is either going to love me for playing something into the ground that isn’t a shooter or absolutely despise me for obsessing over Spider-Man. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
if you join a psn party and cant talk to people bc of nat issues, 98% chance its due to a wireless connection
If you loved NES/Sega Metriod /Castlevania type games check out Dead Cells it came out last night. I'm loving it
Seem to have misplaced my charging cable for the controllers, are the $7 ones on Amazon worth a shit? Reviews on most of them are pretty mixed.
hopefully someone can help me out. I am about to play Overcooked 2 online and used to use my apple headphones as mics. Now they don't work. I've read that they updated it to disallow certain kinds of earbuds from working as mics. Does anyone use cheap headphones to talk on PS4 and can they recommend a brand that still work for them? Don't want a "gamer headset," just want a cheap set of headphones that will get the job done. For reference: https://www.resetera.com/threads/ps4-no-longer-work-with-3rd-party-earbuds.25643/
