Just got nioh since it was on sale and thought oh I've beaten dark souls and bloodborne this should be a piece of cake Ron howard voice : it was not a piece of cake
My PS4 got fucked during a recent update so I had to wipe it and start over. I was in the middle of God of War, wasn't ready to jump back in that yet so I was looking around my HD, realized I had bought but never played Doom. Fantastic so far, and as a guy who played the original Wolfenstein and Doom games when they were actually just released, its a trip for me to see how far they have come (haven't played a Doom or Doom like game since probably Quake IV so I didn't really see all the iterations that led up to this).
Your data for saved games should've been backed up the PSN+, you should be able to retrieve it. Only thing you need to do is reinstall it
Thanks, I was looking into that, does it do it automatically or did I need to enable it as a setting?
You’ll need to enable it -settings -applications saved data management -online storage You should see an option to download it to the system after that
u would not last one full game against my son unless u play national gaming. ur not off the hook yet .
God of War is the kind of game that I want to start over. I've never done a New Game + but it has me very tempted.
i heard mixed things. it's from the same people that made Life is Strange, though obviously it's a completely different game. One of the major critiques i read is that it's just not a very challenging game, which kind of negates the effects of leveling up and building your character
the answer is always witcher 3 with expansions. also bloodborne so TrustyPatches doesnt need to get all worked up. Just fiy the game will make you hate everything (but its a great game if you like to fight the same boss for 6 hours and cry in your livingroom)
Doom Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Old Blood and The New Colossus check out the Spyro remastered trilogy
For me its the best mixture of story and gameplay. God of war 4 has just as good gameplay but Horizon's story is much better imo
Ehh I heard you, was more of a “how” than a “what”. I guess we’re all entitled to our own terrible opinions
And ftr HZD is a great game but I think most of that greatness is built on the fact it wasn’t really supposed to be so amazing. Still, doesn’t belong in the same conversation as BB and GOW
Just joined PS4 community after about a 4 year hiatus. I just had knee surgery and have been laid up and couldn't pass up that $200 Spider Man bundle. I beat that and am currently in the middle of RDR2, which is the main reason I wanted to get back into gaming. I bought Uncharted 4 and HZD both brand new for $25 combined during black Friday and buddy gave me his copy of GOW. I'm contemplating BB Compete Edition that is just $13 on PS store but I like physical disks and don't want to get too big a back log. I also have to catch up on latest MGS too. My favorite games toward the end of my PS3 days were Demon and Dark Souls so I think I'll like BB. Also need to pay new south Park. Loved stick of Truth and heard Fractured isn't as good but still fun. Unfortunately I bought PUBG and fucking hate that I suck so bad at it but it's a good lesson that I'm not a multiplayer guy anymore. Definitely looking for some single player story driven games.
Anyone else have ps now? I went ahead and got it during black friday and the only game Ive downloaded has been Bloodborne just wondering if there are any other must haves on there
HZD was the most revolutionary game this generation but bloodborne was better. So was persona. HZD > GoW tho
I mean sure when you look at the tactical combat. When you add the awe inspiring scenery and the excellent storytelling and relationship between Kratos and Atreus it becomes something to itself. The side quests were all very well done and the ending is an all time great. What I thought was the coolest aspect of the game was how SSM was able to weave their own twist into Norse Mythology and still have it make sense. Plus it was fun. HZD got clunky feeling after a while and the melee stuff was unbearable. GOW was smooth, technically sound, visceral and challenging.
