Pretty much all youtubers/streamers who have been playing Days Gone really enjoy it. Definitely looks like a better experience than rdr2.

 

Kind of looks like a hot mess to me. Tons of bugs, terrible AI, highly repetitive, etc.

 

That's pretty damn bad.

Glitches are shit, but thankfully my expectations for game developers has been steadily pushed down to record lows. Patch em up later and I'll play. I mean, I won't be playing that Days Gone game because it isn't an interesting genre to me, but I'll play something I want to.

 

I will play Days Gone when it is a free PSN release

ya, I thought when it was announced that it was promised to be a worthwhile feature. fucking sucks

The last few years have been some of the best in gaming history. How can you possibly have low expectations?

 

What remains of edith finch is one of the best, most interesting experiences of this gen.

 

I add them to my library but the last one I actually played was Mafia III.

I've been on xbox for most of that time, with mostly shit sports games. PS4 has taken over my gaming routine though because of the game quality, the Show is dope and God of War obviously. I play Apex still a bit and I put up with some sloppy stuff in that, lagging like I'm walking through water because someone in my vicinity has a baked potato as a wifi router, etc. I play Marvel Strike Force on my phone because I am a glutton for punishment and that's a buggy piece of shit. My point is, I've had my ups and downs and I just don't wanna get hurt again.

Luckily sony is great. Days Gone is the worst thing theyve released since the first couple of years of this gen and it still seems to be a pretty good game, better than most others of that genre at least.

 

Sony still blows Microsoft out of the water in regards to exclusives. I like the X as a machine better than the Pro, and most of my friends are on Xbox (tho we're all running out of stuff we enjoy, so I don't really play with them anymore) Maybe I should jump back to PS4 mostly.....



or maybe not.

 

it was on sale for like $20 recently. almost bought it. didnt. but almost did.

 

i havent played an ass creed since 2. well, i played a bit of the colonial america one when i got it for 20. and i played an equally small amount of black flag at the same point in its life. i've always really just hated the combat therefore i imagine i would enjoy origins and odyssey

 

Anyone play FIFA pro clubs? Id like to play with people who know how to play and not get stuck with randoms

 

Bloodborne is a must, obviously. Horizon Zero Dawn is really good, if you havent tried that. Nier Automata (actually that might have eventually went multi plat) and persona 5 are also two of my favorites of this gen

From Software games have never stuck with me for whatever reason. Sekiro is the first one that's really looked good to me. May still end up giving it a try.

 

I'm kind of the same way. I enjoy a challenge sometimes but also play games to relax and enjoy myself. Not make me want to throw my controller in a fit of rage.

It's just not the type of game that appeals to me I guess. But I probably need to expand because I feel like I never have anything to play anymore.

 

All it is in a nutshell is learning from your mistakes. From is tough but they are fair. Their games don’t do anything that you can’t handle by accepting the fact you died because you did something wrong and learning not to make those mistakes again. Every new encounter has a new set of rules to learn but at a point, it clicks with you and you get the idea.

The games are still tough but man they provide a feeling that you just can’t get anywhere else. The moment when you’re in the last 15% of a bosses health that you just died to 10 times in a row, you know what to do but suddenly, you’ve got a sub-boss to deal with that is the tension of the moment. When you finally beat that fucker and you dry your hands and controlled off from the sweat of your palms you realize you can’t stop fucking smiling. Then you go right back into it trying to catch that buzz again..
