Looks very interesting, nice to see some previously unannounced stuff coming out here to fill in the calendar between the tent-poles.
Well you’re getting a movie, eventually. I think a mini series would be better as well. Regardless, it’s the only video game I’ve ever played that I’d like to see made into film. Just for the fact that I’d like folk who don’t game to experience the story
Anyone planning to get stuff from the Days of Play sale? I'm looking at Detroit, Spidey, Ace Combat 7, Nioh, and maybe finally the PS4 GTA V.
That PS Plus free Sonic Mania game made my jaw drop multiple times in the hour I've played it. Just fun, seizure-inducing madness. How did my eyes keep up with this when I was a child (given, they've added much more to the levels, but still)?
Its on my wishlist and the price is great, not sure i'm ready to sink the time into it but i may buy it and work my way to it.
I want Ace Combat bad, but I’ve heard mixed reviews from my friends who have played it. Haven’t seen much stuff from critics/reviewers though
Just bought Detroit. Been waiting on that price to try it out. Also got 2K19, because why the hell not at $3 Possibly going to get DMC 5
Was hoping you wouldnt catch that. Nah I'll still work on the souls Platinums. I'll be playing Days Gone on PS5 at this rate
$11 for Detroit and nba 2k? My backlog is insane but I can’t pass that up. I wonder if the deluxe is worth the extra $4 if I’ve already played Heavy Rain with no intention of playing again.
I have NBA and Detroit Become Human downloading now. Deciding which other game I should snag. Did anyone play NHL?
Yeah like when your little robot buddy makes you pay a microtransaction in order to "overcharge" that cutting drill, smh. Old EA, back up to the same tricks.
Yeah, can't same I'm all that impressed. They mashed some Uncharted platforming with some mediocre looking combat and some potato storytelling.
I'm a simple man. I want to pay a baseline amount of money for a video game that lets me swing a lightsaber. I don't want to pay extra. It's been a minute since we had such a game.
I'll play it possibly but it looks fairly uninspired. Would love to see what a top tier dev could do with Star Wars.
I really wanted to be excited about Fallen Order but I just couldn't. As someone said, looks like some early Uncharted climbing and jumping, with Star Wars stuff. Some of the force powers looked cool, its probably some fun to play, but I just felt meh.
yeah that is a good word. Its strange but as I was watching it, I kept wanting to see an arm get cut off, or those giant spider things get split in half by the light saber, something that showed they put extra time into it. Those little touches are important to set the tone and build a believable game world (yes I know believable is a different concept in a made-up world, but not in one so fleshed out and fully realized as SW already is), and they didn't do it. Maybe I'm picking nits but that would have gotten me excited to see what else the game world had, but its just bleh. Hope i'm wrong and the finished product is great.
Ijs, they had a large playable demo on the show floor and I cannot find one person who played it that wasn’t blown away. GI has an article on it that’s a free read and they are gushing. Edit: it’s probably gonna be GOTS
