They are using unreal I believe but it did have that same look as Frostbite it seemed. But actually not as clean as Frostbite. The faces looked kind of bad.
As someone who has owned every generation of both Xbox and PS the rivalry has never made sense to me.
I have no reason to own an Xbox. I can play their games on PC if I want. That said the rivalry makes zero sense to me as well. I'm glad they exist so it forces Sony to constantly improve.
Honest question, what is the appeal of an xbox other than playing games with people who only have an xbox?
They have always had exclusive games I personally liked. All the way back to the first Buffy game that I still own and play on my 360. I live Halo and Gears too. I don’t intend to get in a pissing contest of how terrible those games are and I am not going to build a desktop gaming pc or buy a gaming laptop. Owning both has always worked for me especially with kids. I also own a switch.
I guess if you just flat out refuse to get a pc then it makes sense, but if you have one it simply doesnt. It did before microsoft starting puttingg everything xbox on pc sure, but not now. Also no one should ever buy a gaming laptop.
I have a cheap laptop for my torrance. I don’t feel the need to get a gaming pc when I can just buy an Xbox which is more than enough for me.
I'm usually an own both consoles type of guy, and at one point in this generation I did have both. Got rid of the xbox after a few years because absolutely nothing was coming out & I've never been huge on Halo or Gears. Kind of regretted it when sea of thieves was announced, but it turned out to suck (i hear it's ok now but still no system seller) so I didnt feel too bad. From this point forward, almost nothing could make Microsoft be my primary console. There might be some exclusives that make me pick one up down the road a bit, but my entire digital library is on PS right now so it will be the first I pick up next gen. I think a lot of other people will feel the same. Can't lose that digital library you've built up.
I intend to own both of the nextgen probably, but I'm pretty much PS first priority now. Better exclusives by far.
I have always been more of a Xbox person but I’ve changed recently because it’s seems PS is geared more towards my style of gaming :single player campaigns rather than online.
I play single player games on console and multi player games on PC, I don't understand the console only gamers.
Some like to play games in the living room on the couch. Those people can stick to single player games imo and not pollute my ps4 party. Most just dont like the idea of dealing with a pc
You should consider it, even if you just have a console there. Next gen consoles are being represented as capable of 120 fps and no tv is going to hit that. If it turns into a generation of 4k 60 fps then theres no need, but im really hoping it doesnt. A high refresh rate has a much larger impact on gaming than 4k or even 8k does/will.
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the new Avengers game, none of the characters look like themselves? The voices are one thing, I get it, but the likenesses aren't even that close. Story looks cool and action looks decent as well, but its like they deliberately tried to make them not look the like the movies.
I was always Team Xbox, but that was mostly for Halo and my friends were on it. Once I drifted away from Halo, I got a PS4 at launch and none of my friends got a One. Friend eventually came back to Xbox and we thought Master Chief Collection would be great, so I got a One. Then upgraded to a X and Pro, but I like the X better as a machine so it gets most of my attention. Sony still has way better exclusives, so I'd get a PS over an Xbox in the future. Ultimately I'd like to be PS and PC.
It’s to clearly separate from the MCU. Evidently they’re going to try to do their own video game universe as they do content updates and expansions.
Lots of different interpretations but the costumes are on point so you know who they are. The facial animation may not be cutting edge but still better than what I expected tbh.
