Spiderman is one of those hard games to pick back up after a break because of all of the moves I feel likemi forget how to do since the combat system is based on gaining skills with new button and move combinations. Picking it back up is like "ahhhh fuck I forgot how to do everything" and immediately dying
This is why I can’t finish HZD. Every time I pick it back up I forget how to play and I have no desire to start over
I'm just a dumbshit who likes to play (and restart for the perfect starting position) endless meaningless Civ games rather than push through my backlog of great games.
Apparently I love starting a Civ game, playing it for like 6 straight hours, then never playing it again
Couldn't have said it better myself. I've fallen for the Maori on this latest expansion and you start IN THE FUCKIN OCEAN how cool is that
ANnyone play The Outer Wilds? I didn't even realize it was out, but was reading up on it and it sounds pretty damn cool.
If it ain't broke... That said, would have liked to see something a little different. I really thought he was going to drop a release date or something while I was watching the live stream, no such luck. If they had done it at CES it would have been a massive middle finger to E3 and the other big shows, so I see why they didn't.
I don't think they have any particular love for E3, but its still the biggest stage around and they have something big to show off. Last year it made sense for them to skip E3 and they saw it made no difference, so in off years I expect they will continue to skip it. Now, i'm not sure the actual reveal of PS5 comes at E3, June reveal for a November drop seems a bit late, but I expect they will be at E3 with lots of game announcements.
Am I the only person not that excited for PS5? I feel like every generation I've felt a seismic upgrade from the previous one and a need to upgrade but right now I feel like I'm good with my PS4 for another 3-4 years.
All depends on price point for me. I've been wanting a PC for awhile, but console is way more affordable. At least Sony has great exclusives.
I don't know if that's true anymore. I think all of these companies are realizing they can just throw their own events and get more out of it than just having one day of a 3-day conference. Plus you now have the massive captive audience of the Game Awards for reveals too. You could always go do it at CES if you needed a lot of media there. E3 is fine but it's not what it was and the industry is showing you that.
Honestly my biggest gripe with consoles is the low frame rate. If they can deliver like 1080 60fps and 4k 30fps they’d be set for awhile in my mind.
i'll often go directly from pc to ps4 destiny. 120 fps to 30 makes me feel like an actual retardrd person
I'm tired of the long ass load times in a lot of games. Playing Outer Worlds and every time I start it up or load a save or get off my ship I feel like I'm watching a loading screen for 45 seconds.
Sony announces they are skipping E3 again. Wow, did not expect that. I will always miss tuning in the for the big presser but I like that we will get more PS Experience-like events. Seems like they should be kicking those off soon, assuming they want the typical 7-9 months worth of hype that you typically get before a launch.
If you really got into the combat side of GOW then you'll probably enjoy BB. It's not gonna give you the same kind of story highs as GOW but if you like a white knuckled and challenging game play experience with awesome atmosphere, music and insane boss fights then BB is a must. I'm notoriously in love with it
I let someone borrow my physical copy of the war god game so I got a digital copy for $5 and change and hopefully will be starting it sometime this week
After listening to the How Did This Get Played episode on Death Stranding I'm suddenly super interested in playing it. Is this something I should do as someone who only has like a few hours per week to play games?
