Lot faster load times, better AI and more convincing game worlds. At some point graphics won't be the focus, it will be improvements in the games themselves
what if you just want to play the story mode on a dark and stormy night in your cabin in the woods without the internet?
Disks are good for newer games if you think you'll play through once. In the end, the total cost for me for Jedi Fallen Order, Death Stranding, and Days Gone was about $15 after trading and selling.
My Best Buy gamer club gets me 20% off physical games but runs out in about a month I’ve been leaning physical a bit more over the past year but the BB deal expiring may turn me exclusively digital
How much longer will that realistically be an option though? GameStop is hanging on by a thread and this recession will probably bury them. They were heading that way anyway.
I know I am late, but I am awaiting Final Fantasy 7. How is Days Gone for those that have played through it? Is it challenging? Repetitive? Fun?
Also that backwards compatibility that everyone lold me about is looking like i deserved all the shame
I agree, anything less than 1tb is pretty ridiculous honestly. I'm a bit disappointed with the specs in comparison to the X. We will see how it plays out I guess. I'm still not switching because Sony has better exclusives but still, a bit bummed.
It says basically that it’s only gonna be back comp with MOST of the top 100 PS4 games. They were talking like it would be a library of games within PlayStation history
Yeah the X is light years more capable but if they don’t have games idc. Hopefully this means the PS5 is gonna be loads more affordable as well
yes, because it makes me not care how big it is. it would probably have had to push 4tb to keep me from upgrading it immediately, and that was never going to happen.
Good for you I guess. I was kind of hoping it’d be a nice chunk of memory and I wouldn’t have to worry about upgrading (and not doing it) for some time.
I mean, my PS4 pro already has 1TB. I don’t think it was too much of a stretch to expect a launch PS5 system to at least double that.
it would have been doubled if it was hdd rather than ssd. an ordinary 2 tb ssd would be half the price of the console. and supposedly, this is no ordinary ssd.
Finished Horizon Zero Dawn. Really fun game, good story, and I definitely enjoyed it. I’d give it an 8 or 8.5/10. Now I’m debating paying for Doom Eternal or waiting and picking up something else on PS Now or PS+.
Playing Guacamelee 2 with Half Knight while he's home on Spring Break, really like it, lots of improvements to the formula that already worked well in the first game. Highly recommended for couch co-op
