Holy shit this is good. Like legitimately A++. To be fair I really like Noah centeno, but I would be surprised if y’all didn’t like this show.
I think it either needs to be 2 episodes less or 4 episodes more. They half fleshed out the supporting cast so either do more or less of that but it didn't work as is for me. I think it could have been a better show with the hot roommate as the lead and her juggling this role as a woman and living with her ex and her rich connected parents being involved in her career. Be curious about a second season and if they grow this show or fuck it up.
See I agree but I kind of like how the characters were half fleshed out. I don’t need to see another show about the CIA that’s clean. This show is pretty messy. It has messy heroes and messy villains. There’s no mastermind, there’s just a bunch of characters who think they can get out of anything with their respective talent/skill and we watched them fail miserably at one point or another over 8 eps. I like that. I had no idea where it was going and I found myself not even caring because I enjoyed the characters so much. Some were weird. The OGC dynamic in office is so weird. Janus is literally the antithesis of just about any CIA related character in a show that takes itself seriously. He’s nuts. They gave Amelia depth for no reason because it suits her. Hannah hanging by a thread, finally getting somewhere, and then having the rug pulled out was brutal for her character. Goi was surprising and awesome. A lot of fun. I enjoy the Violet/Kitchens subplot too. It’s hilarious she’s so dense she can’t realize Owen is just some 24 year old egocentric dude that could not care any less about the climbing the ladder. She thinks Owen is sabotaging her when in reality he more often than not does it to himself. Kitchens can see that I think and is clearly capable which is another fun dynamic. He’s messy too. Caught between 2 jobs. And Nathan Fillion cameo was awesome I agree though that the abruptness of how it ended was perhaps a little too daring unless they’re certain it gets renewed. It’s got legs I think. Audience really likes it.
Going to take a little time for me to get over the guy just hopping on a plane and showing up at a cia black site and get tortured because his two coworkers told him to go check it out. and then he just flew home and all is well?
Fun enjoyable show. Creator / writer Alexei Hawley is also behind Castle, The Rookie and The Rookie Feds, which are a few of the only major network shows i've watched recently. Looking forward to season 2, if it happens ...
Just finished and absolutely loved it. Fun ride and of course it is not realistic at times, but something tells me that some of the mistakes are not so far off. They are human after all. I loved all of the secondary characters and especially the women.
I just finished the last episode too. Really like it and the characters like was said before. The twist at the end is great but like JP said, what a fucking hanger. Need season 2 asap.
Nyland? Honestly, I think all of the comedic actors are really good, but I wouldn't have picked him. I liked Violet and Amelia, although Violet's character does get somewhat annoying towards the end. Amelia is awesome and so is Janus.
i'm through three episodes and it's pretty fun but i don't think it's incredible. like a less-good Patriot with a main character that i can't particularly stand. i like all of the characters and the cia meetings and whatnot except for the main character.
The wife and I really enjoyed this show. If you wanted to nit pick you could, but thats lame, enjoy the ride.
6 eps eh (Finished) Spoiler Max's daughter isn't anywhere near as fun Show got pretty silly but still enjoyable thanks to the casting imo
