A pod is different is than a real game but still people have been calling guys by their first name for ever. You think people were saying Johnson over Magic? Jabber over Kareem? I heard Michael and Scottie said all the time growing up.

My favorite part was Ryen saying players have never cared less about playing than now (when discussing the mid year tourney) then Bill about five minutes later saying players have never cared more than what he’s seeing in these playoffs. Just completely contradictory world views.

 

Ryen was prob talking about the regular season. And tbh the product and style of playoff is so different between regular and post season I think the nba should do some that.
