Mark Ingram's tantrum on the sideline today.... Back when we were good 09-12 that shit would have never had happened. I can't believe they're at a point to where players are bitching when we score points.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/s...r-much-to-trade-sean-payton-during-offseason/ SIAP - I'm down with this. Go ahead and trade Sean Payton, and try to trade Drew Brees too. Get some draft picks and rebuild. But Mickey Loomis is also a big problem. Shift Loomis over to the Pelicans, remove Demps, and maybe promote Jeff Ireland to GM? Or hire someone completely new who is better at developing young talent.
For those that keep up with the Pelicans, does Alvin Gentry make it until the end of the season? He's got to be out of here by end of season right?
Fuck yeah All the washed up players getting paid, then cut half way through the season. Dead money is a little too low for our liking right now
Dell Demps made the worst decision hiring Alvin Gentry over Jeff Van Gundy. Van Gundy should have been the head coach. Wait let me digress even more; firing Monty Williams was a mistake.
Yeah it's time for Demps to fire him. Go out and hire Jeff Van Gundy. He'll at least bring the team close to .500 by season end.
Was so disappointed when we let Monty go. I was there when we clinched the 8th seed against Spurs. Place was rocking and I thought we were only going to get better with AD. I was hoping we would let Gentry go last year and give it to Thibodeau.
If we lose to the Falcons next week, it will make 4 out of the past 5 years finishing 7-9. Tight, real tight
It's like once we're officially out of the playoffs each year we play with the attitude of 'nothing to lose' .......And win each remaining game.....
Someone said the other day, "Man I hope the Saints draft Leonard Fournette!" Why? Sean Payton will misuse him like he's done with Reggie Bush and Mark Ingram. The ONLY running back Payton has ever used properly in the offense was Deuce McAllister.
Audibly laughed at the graphic they put up showing that the Falcons were averaging 28.6 yards per play thus far
Also, Mark Ingram has five games this year with under 10 carriers in a game. So far today he has 11....On pace for 20+...That's the kinda shit that is exhausting with Sean Payton and Pete Carmichael. Run the damn ball each game, don't try and get cute.
Let's discuss the draft. I say we pick up a corner in the 1st, a linebacker in the 2nd, then maybe get a HB in the 3rd. Fairley/Jordan/Rankins is probably a decent enough pass rush to where we don't need to go for a DT/DE early.
