Still technically possible... but doubtful. At least we still have Wolves If we get at least a point out of this weekend against Arsenal, we're good.
I have never seen such a Jekyll/Hyde team with Home/Away: At the Britannia this year: Ws against 'Pool and Spurs, Draws with both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, and the Gunners. Newcastle is the only Top 8 team to beat us at the Brit (we play Everton next week)
Hate to say it, but it's easier for teams to break you down when they're not playing on the smallest pitch possible.
I'm not all about mocking Arsene for his tactics/attitude... but that jacket continues to be the most ridiculous thing on the pitch.
Worst showing since we've been up. Pulis needs to bring in some mids/wings that can control the ball and mix in a little bit of possession with our long ball'n ways. Pennant is likely gone and I keep reading that Jarvis is likely in... that doesn't really do enough.
So... Stoke announces a US tour. They'll be playing in Columbus, Orlando, and Kansas City. Guess who will be in Utah when they grace the sunshine state? This idiot. Guess I'll just have to go over there to see them.
Not surprised to see Stoke coming to Orlando. They are partnered with Orlando City. Also Pulis' kid plays for Orlando.
Enjoy it while it lasts. He could be a top Prem player but he could also shatter his legs juggling the ball.
Portuguese U21 winger Tijane on trial with the club. Never heard of him, but we need wings in the worst way.
Then of course we throw away 3 points by giving up a 90+ penalty. We can't throw away points against Reading, they are awful.
Edu and Adam both registered for tomorrow. N'Zonzi probably won't be. Heard that Whelan to Wolves may have gone through... prerecordedlive ... you hear anything about that?
There were no incoming transfers to Wolves today. Whelan and Jones were both rumored to us but with Doyle committing his future to us, it looks like we sat on the phone today.
Suddenly we have a clogged midfield. Whelan, Whitehead, Cameron (though I expect him to bounce between Mid and Defense), Edu, Delap, Adam, N'Zonzi. All of them play central mid, none can really play on the wing with much effectiveness.
Well that was unexpected. I was hearing Frimpong and Robbie Brady as possible loan deals. I'm ok with this.
well, as soon as we got Kightly, Pennant's fate was sealed... Pulis has a strict 2 wingers total policy (or it just seems that way)
Figured we'd be getting some sort of winger though. We've lost Peszko, Boukari, and Hunt in the past couple of weeks. Plus Doyle is out, which we could use as an emergency winger. Hoping Pennant can get up to speed on our game quick.
Great montage of all of Stoke's goals from their first EPL campaign: Some really good Rory throws up in that.
I think we've given Cameron a good opportunity for regular EPL play... Shea could benefit from the same. Etherington has really been garbage and I don't know why Kightly hasn't had more run.
Shea is certainly an upgrade over Jermaine Pennant (). Also, fuck you guys for loaning him to us. Worthless doesn't begin to describe him, but thank God it's over.
Not soccer related... but posted on a Potter message board... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...rent-have-the-longest-willies-in-Britain.html (I'm not British in any way... those dudes have small penises)
