Honest question - who here was in the market for nearly $900/seat with fees on a Thursday night in Tampa?
We bought six together. She mentioned there were cheaper options if we split up. That may have been it?
This is why I have sympathy for Taylor and other artists like her. If Taylor herself charged $2,000 a ticket she'd be barbecued for it. But if that's the market, that's the market. Not a lot anyone can do about it, short of selling tickets that people like racer can't flip but if there's a way to do that, I'm not aware of it.
I tried to do this and quoted a poster asking where he’d be looking for tickets but never got an answer. For the best though as my stepmom lost connection and needed me to grab 3 for her
My issue is it’s so fucking difficult for the avg person to get seats when they go on sale with all the bots. The verified fan thing seems like they’re trying to do something about that. I don’t know how many times I’ve got presale codes and get on immediately and the majority of good seats are already gone. Then you pick seats and try to check out and they’re already sold. So you have to repeat the process.
I've been to numerous shows that don't allow you to transfer and others that require you to show the credit card you purchased with
my wife for reputation she was the seat next to the catwalk and wants to continue that level of experience
When I saw Brand New a few years ago there were no tickets of any sort and were impossible to sell. You had to swipe the card you paid with at the entrance.
Concert I went to a few months ago has your name attached to the ticket and you have to show ID on entry
I’m all for eliminating unfair scalping but this seems a bit much. What about someone who is gifted tickets?
I imagine you'd just put the persons name you buy them for. Seems better than having to swipe the purchase card that someone else mentioned.
Yea gifting was literally impossible with the card swipe situation. My wife ended up not going and I tried to sell one for face.. had to awkwardly stand in line with the stranger and go in together.
When the PS5 came out I had a coworker trying to help me get one and somehow both of us got through and I ended up with 2. I decided to do the nice guy thing and list it for exactly what I paid for it on Facebook marketplace. Everyone thought it was a scam because of the price and it kept getting taken down. I finally posted it in a buy/sell group and had a bunch of moms calling me a scumbag for selling over retail because I had it listed for the price I paid including sales tax.
And, according to calculations by Bookies.com, an online destination for all things sports betting, fans have a 2% chance (that’s a 1-in-50 shot) of scoring general sale tickets at face value for The Eras Tour. Those aren’t impressive odds. The odds improve to 5% (a 1-in-20 shot) if you had a presale code. Still, not looking likely.
I am going to try the Capital One Presale today. My 5 year old little girl is counting on me...I have to make it happen.
Break up Ticketmaster Legalize weed expand student loan forgiveness ?????? profit 100% of the Gen Z vote.
in the queue this morning for my presale and it went from like 1300 to 287 in a couple of minutes and now it hasn't moved since. if I refresh my browser will he put me in the back of the line?
For real, TM fees are so bad here in Birmingham for Legion matches that the club OPENLY ADVERTISES you should call them ahead of time to avoid the fees.
Yes. They probably paused due to demand again. Edit: just saw this was from an hour ago. Did you get through?
I got in...trying to pick tickets...it keeps telling me they are unable to complete the request. What the fuck
I'm in. Picked tickets about 20 times...then keep getting a message saying unable to process request on this device. That happen to anybody?
Yes. I was on my phone, switched to desktop version and didn't pick my exact tickets. Just picked the suggested ones
After 40+ attempts (no exaggeration) I finally got 4 tickets. Was going to get 6, but unfortunately it didn't work out. Also got them in the nosebleeds when I wanted midlevel...but it was the only ones I could get to go through. Oh well...at least I'll be in the builiding
How do I get in the capital one presale? I'm seeing links to the announcement of the presale but not the actual presale
Just go to Ticketmaster and go to the date you want. There is a box to put in the code...which is the first 6 digits of your Capital One Card. You also must use the card to purchase the tickets.
Ticketmaster has no tickets available for any of the three Dallas shows. Somehow I'm in line on SeatGeek through TS's website.
the Eagles season ticket holder presale was clutch. shockingly there isn't a lot of crossover between those fanbases I guess.
I tried for a couple hours, actually got through the wait list pretty easy but every time I clicked on seats someone already snatched them or I got an error. No tickets for the Doug house
