Day before and day of will probably be your best chance to get something relatively cheaper with people panic selling. I think some sites let you set a price alert. Otherwise you're just living on the site hitting refresh every few min.
My wife is a massive, massive, tswift fan, so when we see her in Nashville in May, it'll be my third tswift show since 2015. When tickets went on sale, I told my wife I was down to pay $1,000 per ticket. To me, the music is whatever, but the production/experience/show is wildly awesome and entertaining. Sitting here today, I'd be pissed to pay $1,000 per ticket. But if prices don't drop and that's what it costs to get in the door on the day of the show, I'd 100% pay it. YOLO.
