It was around 7:50 for our show Saturday night, which my wife had said she read was pretty consistent.
We could see her walk out the back of the stage from our seats, so that's kind of like a post credits scene.
The songwriter/producer? I thought she wrote most of it herself. And the rest was a team of all kinds of hot shots.
I guess “a” and not just “the” https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman....n-dessner-ahead-of-the-alcott-release-4120901
if any of you don't know about The National you should rectify that. that's not the first song they've done with her either, but they're great on their own.
if anybody needs a parking pass in atlanta for tomorrow holler at me. i bought one on vivid seats but no longer need. just looking at making some money back it looks like prices are dropping.
The National are incredible and the Dessner produced songs on Folklore/Evermore are my favorite T Swift songs.
If you're going to Atlanta and haven't figured out parking yet, it's super cheap on vivid seats today. $100 a mile away a few weeks ago, and like $20 across the street now
Getting on/off Marta at Vine City saved a bunch of time. Especially after the concert. I had club seats so I didn’t have any trouble with getting to my seats or much waiting. She played for over three hours so plan your bathroom breaks, make sure you’ve got your drinks and stuff accordingly. I took some edibles. The womens lines for bathrooms are insanely long, so especially make sure the females in your group are aware. I think concessions ran out of food at some point so I’d probably eat before
We went. Great show. She’s absolute smoke in person. Voice was on point. No lip synching (not that I expected it). Synced Lights with the bracelets were cool. That woman can wear a garter. parked in lot M on Magnolia NW. $45 and right across from the stadium. Just cross the bridge and you’re right there Easy to get out too. Took us 1 hour to get home. The line to get in went back to the Congress center and wrapped around. It was insane. I’ve never seen anything like it. I bypassed the line and pushed my way in right by the gate. I use push lightly. I Just really walked into the crowd and kept going. Was really easy actually. Got through the line in less then 5 minutes. Another pro tip - all the restaurants and bars were packed preshow. Couldn’t get in anywhere. So we just walked into the Omni bar, got a table immediately and had drinks.
As a National stan and target sad dad etc I am thrilled that they have worked so much with wife and daughter's fave (Taylor). It was fun to run through the collaborations on the way back from the regatta in sarasota. Again, Taylor brings families together Also, the National is pretty great imo
Well I can't hear for shit today but man, what a show. Truly something to experience. She is the absolute peak of celebrity. more relevant to this specific thread, her performance of Revenge was something else.
It was really really good. What an entertainer. And the crowd was insane. I’ve been to a lot of big football games and it was 10x louder than anything I’ve ever heard.
Yea the crowd hit those levels where it stops sounding like screaming/cheering and goes beyond to just sound like fuzzy white noise. The Apple Watch was sending decibel warnings all night
Was at Suns/Clips game 1 and was stunned at how loud crowds can be. Shit seems louder than pre-Covid.
Talk of The National made me wonder since I’m seeing her in Cincinnati. They will not be touring on that date
Potentially a cool $500M https://www.forbes.com/sites/peterc...t-taylor-swift-500-million-to-15-billion/amp/
Friday night show in ATL was incredible, and I’m not even a huge T-Swift fan. Wife’s favorite show she’s ever been to. Was able to sit in a Centennial Suite through work. Amazing set up with a parking pass right outside stadium. Agree with Snakes comment on how loud it was. Absolutely insane
About to have some crossover with the F1 thread https://www.rollingstone.com/music/...nando-alonso-dating-rumors-f1-1234727253/amp/
