Not that far in but it's covering some of the rapes/murders & then will go to him in prison talking about it. So far he has maintained his innocence but it got interesting when the reporter gets him to start talking about what the killer was hypothetically thinking. Also talks about his childhood up to the killings and interviews people from then
about to start final episode. still hasn't gotten to trial p fascinating i just knew he killed a bunch of women, didn't know extent/escapes/etc.
We're through two episodes and I am glad they are really starting from the beginning and chronologically going through the murders and not just showing the trial. Girls were walking out of restaurants or libraries and vanishing into thin air. Getting to see tv coverage of the disappearances was chilling but something I hadnt seen too much of in other docs on him.
This is all so insane. Spoiler if you haven’t finished or don’t know about everything that happens Really amazing how much we’ve advanced since the 70s. The fact that he was captured in Florida and they had no idea who he was for days because he escaped from Colorado is insane. He would be identified in a minute in today’s world. Also I never knew he murdered after escaping. That’s so freaking sad for all the families affected. Can’t even imagine
it is insane no one knew who he was in Florida when he was caught. I didnt realize there were three other assaults in Tallahassee including two more in the sorority house. All you heard when I was there was about the two girls who were killed. Also, thank god he was such a shitty driver or he might have killed a lot more. Both times he was caught was him driving erratically.
It's a good doc. Haven't finished it yet bc the wife has to watch this shit in phases. I, too, didn't realize he escaped twice. There was no one home in his head. Wonder what his daughter is up to these days?
Confused. I thought the only people assaulted were the two girls in the Chi O house. I didnt realize two other girls were almost killed in the house and another a few blocks away.
