How was the stout? It looks delicious. Ive been drinking stouts and porters exclusively lately. I love the coffee and chocolate flavors.

I've had Sun once and Moon twice. Moon is incredible. Sun, Moon, and There Are Rules are the only RB I've had and I'm in love with them all

 

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and just get sad that I missed this and Outside the Lines

Am I the only one that doesn't like this barrel aged craze? I like bourbon, and I like beer, but I just don't like them together.

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but it seems to have gained popularity lately.

 

I think it's because a lot of these breweries that are newer are finally getting the capital to start a barrel program

 

I do find it hilarious that people chase BA stouts down and all their adjuncts but scoff at the idea of drinking the base beer.

But hey, you're not a cool kid unless you've had the vertical of barrel aged soy sauce

 

I've had more beers that seemed unbalanced and overdone than I've had beers that have benefited from the bourbon barrel aging.
