I missed the news that Green Flash fell apart last month. Never really liked their beer and they screwed up Alpine....but not a good sign for the industry on the whole. I would guess craft beer hit a peak in 2016.
They screwed up big time on their expansions and acquisitions. From the Full Pint articles I read they basically did everything you could possibly do to screw it up.
they screw up more than that ? why notbuy something that is at least tasty ? my god what a joke man go get some good beer .
I know when your young you like different things well keep buying odd shit . then when you want to guzzle some good beer . youll wish you had that cash back . like bud , pbr in the bottle , ect , ect .
Please I have bottles of Hill Farmstead I paid 20 bucks for that are going for $125 in secondary value
Just got in this St. Arnulf out of Kentucky. That shit is awesome and love how they grow so much of what they use in their beer. Packaging is a nice throwback too.
Craft beers not coming down anytime soon, but yeah the industry is going to start behaving like a normal mature market with single digit growth instead of annual 15% for a decade*. And the days where 1000 breweries open and 7 close are coming to an end too, but it’s not going anywhere
Adroit Theory is releasing a “toasted coconut and ferrero roche gose” and Isley Brewing just dropped a Peanut Butter gose Y
Well there's part of the problem I imagine the RVA breweries not named The Veil, TC, and The Answer, are doing whatever they can to draw attention.
Doesn’t sound appealing at all. A lot of places making the tequila and lime margarita style ones, I’m a sucker for those in nice weather. Anyone know of some good stuff I could find in Daytona? Brewery scene doesn’t look good but I’d like to get some stuff that might be distributed there that I can’t get in NC.
Shameless plug, if you're into fruited ipa's our (Motorworks) Pulp Friction grapefruit IPA is available over there. Total wine has a few of ours different cans.
I say bring on the milkshake goses. I'll try anything. Ghost train in Bham recently got a slushy machine and put their boysenberry kettle sour and their kiwi wheatgrass sour in them. Haven't had it yet but would
Between Freakness(who almost exclusively drinks sours and goses and loves GT) and I(who can't stand paying for beer and not drinking it) we made it through a third of one.
I am looking forward to tomorrow though. Getting up and going in the morning. Hopefully get a decent spot in line for the pre party bottle share.
I will be drinking some of the IPAs tonight and will be enjoying some at Festival of Funk tomorrow afternoon.
I really need to post itt more. Just got my limit of this at Creature Comforts (single hopped galaxy with lactose).
