Going to the California Craft Beer Association Beer Fest tomorrow. Pretty much all of the CA breweries will be in attendance.
Hey Talking Head I need this in and around my mouth. Please send.
At least it's the weekend around these parts...
Burgeon on the left and Fieldwork on the right
Sante Adarius Automatic Tickle Hazy IPA
Cellarmaker DDH Wild Gooseberry and SARA Cellarman
Anyone familiar with Albuquerque breweries at all? Going to be there in two weekends. There seem to be an overwhelming number of breweries there. Which is awesome but overwhelming as I only have parts of Saturday and Sunday with a soccer match Saturday night to attend.
LaCumbre is there and delicious
Still my absolute favorite beer
Damn I need to try that. They’ve got some damn good beer.
Living that hotel beer life
Been drinking a lot of Oktoberfest last few weeks. This year's Sierra Nevada is brewed with Bitburger and is very good. Also, the yuengling Oktoberfest is super enjoyable and easy drinking. Both are Marzens.
Also, I will be in Chicago all week for work. Last time I went to Revolution and it was great. Where should I go this time?
Where are you staying? Revolution is a great choice.
Chicago has endless choices, it’s an amazing beer city. Half Acre is my favorite up near Lincoln Park. Piece is great if you want beer and some awesome non-Chicago style pizza.
staying right behind the office at the new Homewood Suites on N Jefferson in west loop.
yeah I did piece and revolution last trip (stayed in N River that time.)
is half acre doable by subway?
Irush , one day we will teach you to click “full sized image” when you upload your photos.
Yes, as long as you don’t mind walking.
I’ll post a write up on Chicago breweries when I get home.
I enjoy Half Acre and they just built a big taproom but it is a bit of a hike if you are downtown.
Team thumbnail. Stand strong Irush
So this is delicious
Team full size for one pic
Team thumbnail for multiples
Made it to Half Acre. Solid place
Bodem is my daily train ride beer of choice
If you want to slam lots go with Tuna
Branched out a bit today
Ten years flying with beer and glassware and had my first casualty tonight.
RIP. What were you bringing back?
It was just a pint glass I was bringing back from New Mexico. Luckily the nicer one survived.
This was a Three Taverns passionfruit sour I had last weekend and it was real good
Lucky enough to get my hands on Damon El Desarrollo yesterday at the Hill. So fucking smooth
Just got back from Cerebral in Denver. Anyone else in town for the beer fest?
Just fucking delightful.
Fresh hop season is upon us
The wetwired is one of the best I’ve ever had
soulfly yakima’s time to shine
Fresh hop festival was yesterday; you’ll have to hit it up at some point.
I may hit up Holy Mountain this week
Do it. I’ll meet you for a beer.
Love these truck shots
Is this a truck commercial or a beer commercial?
Civil Disobedience blend 25. Anna (honey saison), Juicy (saison made with New Zealand hops aged in wine barrels), Sankt Hans (Amber Saison aged in oak puncheons) and a buckwheat based saison that eventually became Samuel, all blended together and aged in wine barrels for about a year. So good but lots of citrus up front. Wish I had more than one so I could see what it’s like in a year when the citrus mellows.
I’ve been pretty basic in my beer drinking & more into wine of late, so I haven’t been around much. Hope everyone is super swell!
I moved a while back and was doing some unpacking / purging. Found a couple jolly pumpkin la roja reserves from their 2014 bottling, and a bruery Black Tuesday from 2013 I think?
opened a la roja and it was really nice! Didn’t seem a ton different than how it originally tasted - not sure if it was bottle conditioned or not?
and said fuck it and opened the Black Tuesday. Lol, god damn, what a beast of a beer. Pretty smooth for almost 20%, but still boozy as fuck.
hope everyone is out there crushing it! Stay away from orange juice ipas!
starting to get brisk in Maine
