Trying to make the most of it. Wife is out of town and I’m leaving for a 2 week work trip Monday morning, so I’ve got to make hay while the sun is shining.

 

Damn nowhere good for work? Always made the most of my work trips to check out breweries and such.

 

Going to be in the Huntsville, AL area. There are a few breweries around, but we’re working 10-12 hour field days including through the weekend, so sometimes all you want to do is chill once you get back to the hotel. At the very least, I’ll definitely be bringing some beers to enjoy in the hotel room.

 

I hear you. I was on a long term work project in Syracuse right when I started out of college 8 years ago. We worked 6:30-6:30 on days we weren't traveling.

Thought nothing of getting hammered and rallying to do that the next morning. Definitely couldn't pull that off now with any regularity.

 

Forgot all about Pipeworks. They were new when I was going to Chicago all the time 9-10 years ago. My buddy and I actually went down to their brewery one day in what seemed like a sketchy warehouse area to find out they didn’t have a taproom.

Now they distribute to AZ. Picked up 4 different cans today’s

I am usually in and out of town on gamedays and don't get back to SB much else. Do they distribute? Worth seeking out?

 

They distribute throughout Indiana for sure, not sure about beyond that. And they’re not my favorite brewery, but certainly put out a few really good beers at all times. If you come in for a game and stop at a local liquor store looking for something, they’re definitely worth checking out
