Thankfully not as hot as this week
So damn hot but had to get it..
Not bad on a hot as fuck day
Like the name. Beer is ok.
Got lit af at Wren House and then made a regrettable trip to Pattie's in Scottsdale.
Tomorrow is going to suck.
Jimmy the Saint
Spindletap fucking sucks btw.
just kidding I just feel left out because I can't get it in Chicago
They have not had any new good beers drop in DFW for like 2 months and quite frankly I am pissed the fuck off about it!
That’s a very strange combination.
Seattle is treating me well. Had a Seapines Hurricane Gun IPA at a pizza shop past night.
Then stopped by Sovereign Brewing and had another really good IPA and picked up a bottle for today.
That bottle is a spontaneously fermented Kriek inspired ale on Montmorency & Balaton cherries. Nice peppery finish. Really well done.
Always love the juice
…also have my first Other Half at home box coming next week in time for the 4th.

More Laced in Space
Pulled this from the fridge and was like, I think I still have an almanac glass. Great.
I wish I had more of those. It was really good.
Barntown makes great sours. Never had a bad beer from them.
Like given because it looks cool but I do not enjoy sours. I know blasphemy.
I’m pretty over them.
It’s about to go down.
Blonde Ale with Tang in it. I’ll admit, got this more out of curiosity and the fact the name and can are pretty cool. They released it when the College World Series started here.
Good summer beer, a tad more orange flavored than expected but overall pretty good.
What’s your top 3 Omaha breweries?
I’d probably go with Kros Strain, Nebraska Brewing Co., and I’ve always been impressed with Site-1. Infusion is good too but can be inconsistent.
If I could include Nebraska breweries that have tap house locations in Omaha I would add Thunderhead and Kinkaider.
Big fan of Kinkaider. Didn’t realize they weren’t based out of Omaha. Thoughts on Brickway? Love those guys.
The Mecca of Hops
Kinkaider is out of Broken Bow.
I think I’ve only had Brickway a couple of times and it was before I really got into trying beers. I remember their whiskey being pretty solid though. I work downtown now though, so a day it’s not 105 degrees I’ll walk down and give it another go.
I don’t drink a ton at home, so a lot of times I go to the actual brewery/tap house. NBC, Infusion, Kros Strain are all close to where I live. Kind of forgot about Brickway being downtown/by my work.
Love me some Sue
Try King Sue if you find it your way too
Oh yeah, it is delicious. Waiting for next batch to hit town. The King’s here currently are getting a little malty, about 2 months old.
Weather called for stouts
no beer today
I absolutely enjoy sours. But I feel you. Years ago I used to know what everyone was hunting in various regions and what was considered great, but now I just like (here) and even personally try things based on can/bottle art for the most part. Like it better this way
Little throwback last night. Found on the shelf with a late June bottle date
Not my favorite from TG but it looks damn good. I’d give it about a 3.75 on the Untappd scale.
Parish Ghost in the Machine. drinking beer, holding the baby, watching the rain
