Had a rye IPA from Belching Beaver Brewing from north county San Diego tonight - really good. I don't typically live that style, but this was more Nelson-like. Now drinking a bell's java stout that I shipped home to myself.
I fucking love that beer so much. About to head to the bars and you just determined my beer of choice.
Had some when I was in Lincoln for the PSU game, was surprised how readily available it was but certainly grateful for it.

Anyone familiar with New Glarus in Wisconsin? http://vimeo.com/53638850 The host in the video is a bit of a homo, but this is a great brewery outside of Madison. Most popular beer is Spotted Cow, but ther make several good beers. They only sell it in Wisconsin though.
If theres something you guys arent able to find that I can Id be willing to trade for sure. I know theres alreready a few of us in SC. Im in the MB area. Can get a ton of New South, COAST, Westbrook for sure and others
For you guys that like to age your beer. How do you go about storing them? Do you try and keep them at a certain temperature?
Ideally yes it's best to control the temp, but really no way for me to do that, so I keep them in a closet or in a cabinet.
Same, it's never noticeably affected my beer. I do plan on customizing a freezer for aging someday like Fargin' Icehole
Yeah that is what I am thinking about doing. I almost did it once before when I was brewing a lot. I don't really brew much anymore though. Still would like to have one to age my beers. Keep it aroud 55-60 is what I have read.
Just got back from a store I dont frequent often \, well at all. Turns out I realized why today. They dont have all that much. Decided on some Brown Shugga, Hopzilla, and Wake N Bake. Excited to get into the WnB
Since Bolt Cutter was released back in Nov don't know if anybody still wants/needs it but I saw some today if anybody is interested...or any Founder's right now for that matter
Buddy in Oregon just picked one of these up for me from Logsdon, won gold in the world beer cup. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/25710/81079
Did you pick up that glass overseas? Ive been searching online for awhile now and they usually go $50-60
Had a Brown Shugga at dinner last night. It was good but I was disappointed after hearing so much good stuff about it. The alcohol was really strong on the tongue but I did love the sweetness of it.
